Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 5528

Notes: This room has the extended veranda which was very roomy with 4 chairs and an unrestricted view below as it is in front of the lifeboats. Very quiet room aside from by the bathrooms where it sounded like an air vent running. It actually worked out nicely because it acted like a white noise machine blocking all noise from the hall. The room cut off at the end of the sofa but the extended veranda more than made up for it. We had amazing views of Castaway Cay once docked. This room is almost all the way at the front so at the point farthest from Cabanas, but only about 40 feet from the forward elevators, two of which went all the way up to Deck 13 (Adults section). The Deck 12 stop let right out to the adults pool and the coffee shop so it was very convenient. While it is on Deck 5 the kids clubs were at the back of the ship so didn't have to worry about much foot traffic by our room. It was only one floor down by stairs to the theaters and two floors down to the shops which was great. We didn't notice any noise from the theaters at all. There was plenty of room for myself and my 15 year old daughter who was on the couch. There was no murphy bed or bed that came out of the ceiling so this room would be max of 3 maybe 4 if you used a pack and play for a toddler, but it would be tight. Even though we had some rough seas coming back into port on Friday 2/21 I didn't really notice it that much. Same with engine noise/vibrations. I only really noticed that when coming into the ports and even then it wasn't bad.

Notes: Large veranda with 2 lounges, 2 chairs, small table. Quiet. Deck 5 has children’s areas, so not the most convenient deck to walk through.

Notes: Loved the oversized balcony. Lots of vibration when docking in port.
