Notes: We love the cat. 4E! We have stayed in several. However, this stateroom was a bit different than the typical 4E. The room was quiet with little noise from above. The bathroom with the toilet and sink was smaller than most. It was still functional, just slightly cramped. This room has an extended veranda but it was narrower than other 4Es. The rail instead of being straight across, curved around on the right side. Stateroom 5534 had the same curve but to the left. There was still plenty of room with a table, 2 chairs, and 2 half loungers. The bed was very comfortable. There is plenty of storage. Deck 5 is convenient using the stairs to get to the main restaurants and theaters. |

Notes: Very happy with this room. It is well maintained; we saw no visible wear other than white paint flecks outside from a stormy day.
We never had noise issues from either the outside or inside of the ship. The cruise was about 75% full, but the short hallway meant very few people would walk past. Our last day of sailing had high winds, which caused some rattling and flapping of the veranda dividers and door whistling.
The location is highly convenient to access the shows, laundry, and lobby. If we ever wanted to see a view on the other side of the ship we'd pop down to deck 4. It didn't feel too close to the stairs for crowds, but nice to have a less used elevator during the day.
The highlight is the deck. We had three adults in the room. The veranda came pre-set with two blue chairs, a round end table, and two short blue lounge chairs (the kind that lay back but don't have a spot for feet). We requested a third lounge chair on the first day, and all three adults could comfortably lay out on the deck during our days at sea. I worried the curved endcap would shorten the deck square footage, but it is not noticeable. Instead, there is a bonus extra notch deeper in the deck with a solid white wall. This means the length along the door is wider than the length along wooden railing. We used this notch to stay out of the wind while sailing on stormy days. It was also nice having the curve as it meant we could look out or back without obstruction.
The veranda door was tricky to figure out as the handle moves both up and down to open or close the door all the way. If you didn't lock it correctly a whistle of air could come through.
There were some rougher seas on our trip, but the room felt central and low enough to not be as impacted as other areas of the ship. We only felt some swaying motion.
Note: Both our Pirates and Pixar fireworks were off the starboard side (this side). The ship will request for you to bring anything inside during fireworks and that you not view the fireworks on the veranda. |

Notes: Sleeps 3 with couch bed and queen bed (no pull down bunk). Connecting room with 5530. Nice extra large balcony. The right side of the balcony is against part of the ship's structure, so a portion of it has a solid side wall, therefore the balcony divider between 5532 and 5534 cannot open. Also the railing is curved between 5532 and 5534 so it is easy to look onto your neighbor's balcony.
This cabin connects with 5530 and the balcony divider between the two cabins can be opened.
Nice quiet location. Closest laundry room is up one floor on deck 6 forward. Easy to get to theaters and shops. |

Notes: Great stateroom. Location was very quiet and convenient to the theaters. Plenty of room. We also enjoyed the extended verandah, but would never pay extra for it. (This was a VGT stateroom assignment.) We would happily stay here again. |

Notes: We couldn't have been happier with this stateroom. Perfect location near the aft elevators. Deck 5 was central to all the restaurants, theaters, and shops, and to get to the top decks the elevator was only a few steps away. The only noise I ever heard was someone coughing next door. We never heard anyone talking or any other noise, but the sound buffering wasn't perfect. It was starboard so we had a perfect view of Castaway Cay. Plenty of room, and the balcony was huge, about 2 1/2 times deeper than the other balconies because it is over the 'hips' of the ship. We would absolutely get this stateroom again. |
