Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 5C Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 06/01/19

Notes: Very quiet room and conveniently located near elevators, stairwells, kids clubs, nursery, and movie theatre. All three MDRs short walk down to Decks Four and Three. Lots of storage space in room and enjoyed convenience of split bathroom. Sofa bed converts to bed at night for third passenger (a child, in our case). We have stayed in this stateroom twice (once on the Magic in 2019, once on the Wonder in 2015) with identical experiences.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 5C Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 06/04/17

Notes: PROS: Quiet room and hallway. Convenient to movie theatre on same floor, restaurants one floor down, and Cabanas and pool area four floors straight up. Emergency Evac location for this room is in Animators Palette restaurant 1 floor down. CONS: We were on the Norwegian fjords cruise. Other than the sea, no special views from this Starboard side on this particular cruise. Tight squeeze between bed and wall to walk past each day. The queen size bed sloped downward on either side so no matter what side you were on, you felt like you were going to roll down onto the floor. Very uncomfortable mattress with a bump down the middle - but not 2 beds put together, it was actually a queen. The toilet would not always flush when pushing the button. And then sometimes it would flush 5 minutes after pushing the button. There was also duct tape covering the drain in the bathroom, so I suppose they are aware of some sort of draining issue in this room.

Notes: We really enjoyed this room. The location is so convenient to the Kids Clubs, restaraunts, movie theatre, and the beverage station. We also discovered that the hallway in front of the movie theatre is a really great place to see the characters. They are very frequently walking along this hallway. We would stay on deck 5 again for this reason. The hallway is very quiet and the aft elevators seemed to be used less so they were easy to get. The only negative we had was quite a bit of standing water on the balcony when we first got on but that was gone by the next day. Would stay in this room again in a heartbeat!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/14/09

Notes: We liked the location of this room....Starboard Aft. Not many rooms back there, and the halls and neighbors were pretty quiet and respectful. However, we did experience a lot of noise in the stateroom in the evenings as we prepared for bed and as we were trying to go to sleep. Part of this stateroom appears to be above the Animator's Palette. We heard a lot of bumping, thumping, and banging every evening as we tried to go to sleep. It went on until after 11pm each evening. We spent quite a bit of time trying to determine where the noise was coming from, and what exactly the noise was. It sounds like some sort of mechanical loading or storage machine moving things around. We could not hear any voices or hear any dishes or pots/pans. We talked to our room steward, an officer, and a head food manager. We got no explanations. We eventually just lived with it, but it was disturbing. I would not book this stateroom again because of this noise, although we did like the location of the room. It was convenient to many locations (restaurants, Shutters, walking on Deck 4, etc.)

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 5 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 03/14/09

Notes: Great cabin. Great views of the ports from our side (starboard side) of St Maarten, St Thomas and Castaway Cay while docked. Plenty of room for me, my wife and daughter. Great service all week from our room steward. Quiet cabin (some creaks one night during some rough seas), but I'd book this cabin again.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 5 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/20/07

Notes: We really enjoyed this room. The verandah was so nice, every evening to watch the sunset, and the view of Castaway Island was beautiful. Bathrooms are tight of course, but nice to have them split. Really close to Theatre, had 3 teens on boat in room across from us, and they were able to access everything conviently.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 05/12/07

Notes: Fantastic room! Quiet with little foot trafic down this hall. Great view of Castaway Cay! Living area being next to Balcony means you have to walk around bed. This can make the room feel smaller, however tons of natural light more than makes up for it. Just the two of us so we had lots of space. Would take this room again in a heartbeat.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5630 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 5 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/03/06

Notes: This room was great, except we could hear our parents walking across the floorin the stateroom next store. If you read the report on 5628, there is a soft spot at the edge of the bed and whenever you walk across it, it sinks in the floor and bumps two times. We knew every morning when our parents were up for the day! Room was quiet (except for the bumping) and conveient to the movie theater and kids activities.

Notes: Loved this room. Convenient to aft elevators/stairs - very handy for going up to Deck 9 for drinks, or down to restaurants. Lovely views at St Thomas and Castaway Cay (reversed in). Very comfortable, plenty of room for 2 of us and lots of storage space. Excellent stateroom host (Nilo). Would happily book this room again.
