Notes: This stateroom has the Navigators Verandah, which I liked because it was more private and quieter than the regular verandah rooms. No odd smells in the room or anything like that. This room also has one of the steamer trunks which is not in every stateroom. It was nice to have the additional drawer space. Location to the elevators/stairs was convenient and just a few floors up from Cabana's and the drink stations. Because the room is located Aft, there were a lot of creaky noises and consistent vibration while sailing. I had a hard time sleeping because of this. I liked everything about the room except for the vibrations and creaking but unfortunately I would not choose this room again because of that |

Notes: We loved our stateroom. The Navigator's Verandah gave us a perfect view of the Alaskan scenery. We liked the little bench and chair within it, and the nautical touches like a map and compass. The rest of the stateroom was standard DCL, which is very nice. Very pretty and comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The aft location was very convenient for bringing food back to the cabin from Cabanas. I deducted one star because the toilet occasionally required a couple of flushes to flush (but this did not cause any problem), and because the shower bathroom had a very slight stale or mildewy scent. I poured water into the p-trap in the floor periodically in an attempt to neutralize the odor, but it kept coming back throughout the cruise. However, the odor was mild and only noticeable within the bathroom. It did not effect the rest of the cabin at all. (We had a similar experience on the Magic, so mild bathroom odors might just be something that tends to crop up on the classic ships.) This room did have some vibration on the first and last nights of sailing, and when the ship sailed at top speed, but the vibration was never extreme or problematic to us at all. This was the perfect stateroom for us for this cruise. I strongly recommend a navigator's verandah to anyone who wants a verandah for their Alaska cruise, but doesn't want to pay tor the full unobstructed verandah. I never felt like we needed anything else to see beautiful views in Alaska. |

Notes: Seemed cramped on the Verandah. I would have thought with the "Update", Disney would've enlarged the porthole view and made it more like the Wonder.
Separate from this, the room itself was great and the staff Superb, I just can't put my head around Disney classifying this as a "Verandah" with such the limited view, when on the other 3 Disney ships the Navigators Verandah provides a clear view for all passengers in the stateroom. Disney can do Better ! |

Notes: This was the perfect stateroom. No noise or foot traffic at all ( not a lot of cabins on deck 5 ) Close to aft elevators so the drink station was convenient. My family loved the navigators Verandah, it was very private.. We booked the same room for Oct 2014.. |

Notes: Stateroom 5632 was a SUPER stateroom! It was not noisy at all and was nice and close to the elevator. The views of Castaway Cay and Nassau are very nice. There was plenty of room for the three of us. Highly recommended. |
