Notes: We booked GTY and were assigned this great stateroom for our 7-Day Southern Caribbean Cruise. Funny, we stayed in cabin 5638 on Magic in 2017. It was a little Disney magic and felt like coming home. We love the Navigator's Veranda. We didn't spend as much time on it this time, but it was nice to step out and breathe the sea air and snap some photos. It also made the stateroom feel bigger. It's located above Animator's Palate and we heard some music briefly on sea days. Being on Deck 5 is awesome. You are close to the Buena Vista Theater and the lid clubs. The elevator takes you right to Tiana's Place, Cabanas and, even more important, to the door of Palo (so wear those heals). We used the elevators a lot and only waited once or twice. The cabin was in good condition. No signs of wear. We'll stay in this stateroom again!

Notes: We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin on our Mediterranean Cruise. My 16-year old daughter enjoyed sitting on the Navigator's Veranda (and taking a few selfies of course). My hubby loved sitting out there as well. I loved the map and other nautical touches on the veranda. We didn't feel we had missed out compared to a full veranda cabin that we have stayed in on a previous Disney Cruise. Of course, this cabin features the split bath and other amenities found in Oceanview and Veranda cabins. it was convenient and any noise was minimal.

Notes: We stayed in this room Jan 2016 and just again Feb 3rd 2017. We picked this room for the 2nd time because we loved it. Close to the kids clubs and movie theater. Deck 5 is a great location as it's in the middle of everything you need. The only time I heard any noise is when Animators was having 2nd seating and played music for a few minute, but that was NOTHING that would ever deter me from booking this room again and again.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5638 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 7A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 06/10/12

Notes: This was our first on a Nav. Veranda, we typically get a regular veranda. I have to say it is a little bit of a closed in feeling but we were on the NYC/Canada cruise so it was nice to be protected from the colder weather. I think if it was on a caribbean or bahamas cruise I would have been disappointed. Otherwise, it was fine. No noise, no issues with getting to and from everywhere.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5638 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 7A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/29/11

Notes: Outstanding location for us. We were right above two of the restaurants and just down the hall from the Buena Vista Theater and the Oceaneers Club. There was a constant hum from the engines, but barely noticeable. If you are in the cabin when Animators Palate is having their show, you will hear the loud music. The room was plenty big enough for two adults and a six year old. We had a spectacular view of Castaway Cay. I would stay in this cabin again.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5638 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 7 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/28/07

Notes: Beware of noise. This room is above the Animator's Palate restaurant. Not a big deal, except that any public announcements that are made surround you. also, this room is directly above the side thrusters. Whenever the boat is docking or leaving port it is very loud and vibrates quite a bit. This usually happens super early in the morning! This was our first navigator's balcony, (which we loved) and I'm not sure if a higher deck would make it better. I'd get this location with a lot of caution. Plusses, it's very convenient to restaurants, kid's activities, etc.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5638 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 7 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/28/06

Notes: Aside from a leaky A/C unit which drips down the wall and the water soaked towels in the ceiling to soak up the water from the unit, the stateroom was great! It was quiet! Navigators verandah is awesome! Very convenient to everything... pools, AP, PC, TS, movie theater and kids clubs!

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5638 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 7 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/11/05

Notes: It was very quiet and in good shape. Keep in mind that there an air conditioning room near the end of the hall, and while you CAN'T hear it in your room, if someone knocks at your door and you call out a response, they likely won't hear you. Otherwise, amazingly convenient to everything and very quiet.
