Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 5650

Notes: We really enjoyed the extra spacious verandah. It had two chaise loungers, and 4 chairs plus a small circle table. The stateroom was very comfortable and we slept great in the comfy bed. Most nights I did hear noise coming from the kids club while laying in bed trying to fall asleep. That was the only con. I would book this room again.

Notes: Great stateroom. Verandah is huge. No foot traffic. Last room in dead end hallway. Could hear noise from kids clubs on occasion. Never an issue at night.

Notes: This stateroom is great, and the veranda is enormous. I liked the location a lot -- would happily stay in it again.

Notes: We had this room and there were 3 of us! It has a pull-down berth and can sleep 4. That is where my daughter wanted to sleep every night and she did! There was plenty of room for all of us. The deck was enormous and we could have had ten people at one time, I bet! It included a table, 2 chairs and 2 bigger lounge chairs, so 4 chairs in all. The views when leaving and coming in to every port were beautiful, so nice that we missed the sail away party by mistake! It was a quiet room since it was at the end of the hallway and was conveniently located close to the kid's clubs! I would book this room again! The bathroom had the rectangular tub and the room layout and size seems the same as a deluxe verandah category. Even though it is listed as a deluxe family verandah, it's really the same size as just the deluxe verandah. We visited our friend's room who also had a deluxe family verandah and the cabin portion was bigger than ours and had more storage options. Their deck was much smaller. So, if you want more cabin space, do not book the category 4E, book above that. But if you want more verandah space, 4E's are perfect for that!

Notes: Located at the end of a dead end hallway, it was sheer privacy all the way! Shared one wall with the kids club but barely heard any noise. LOVED the huge verandah, which came with 6 chairs and a table. Since there was a neighbour on only one side we were able to open up the divider on the other side for just a bit more room, even. Slept 4 comfortably. Would absolutely book this room again!

Notes: This was a great room in many ways! It is located very near the aft stairs and elevators, so it made it easy to get around. This room at the end of a short "dead end," so foot traffic was minimal. It was very quiet. The room is adjacent to the Oceaneer's Lab, so outside our door we could occasionally hear some very faint noises from the Lab. But there was absolutely no noise within the room. We also could not hear our neighbors next to or above us. The room has a queen bed, couch that converts into a twin bed, and one pull down bunk. The room was very clean and well cared for. I did not notice any significant wear and tear. The best part of this room is the absolutely huge verandah. It is twice as wide and twice as deep as the typical verandah. We had two full length lounge chairs, four regular chairs and a small table. I would book this room again!

Notes: This was a great room for my son an I. Couple of issues to keep in mind. On port days, the engines do vibrate up to the room and can wake you up. I actually enjoyed this as it allowed me to get up and watch as the ship came into port. Also there is no pull down bunk. So families of more than 3 would not work in this room. Another thig that can be of annoyance (though it did not bother me) was that occasionally you could hear the music from animator's palate. There is an oversized balcony which was great. Also because it is at the end of the hallway, there are not people walking by frequently. Overall I enjoyed this room and would book it again for another cruise. I only put things in that might cause issues for others so it will hopefully help you make the right decision for your family.

Notes: Perfect stateroom. Close to the kid's club, elevator ride away from Cabanas. AMAZING balcony - absolutely HUGE. Much wider than the other extended balconies on deck 5. Beautiful view of Castaway Cay beach when docked. Stateroom is at the end of a hall that deadends, so very little foot traffic.

Notes: This room is at the end of a hallway beside the kids club. It was noisy in the hall outside of the room, but once in the room it was quiet. It is close to the kids clubs, adult area and restaurants, and a quick ride up to Cabana's. The extended verandah is huge. The room has a queen, sofa bed and a pull down bunk. I liked the room and think it is a great choice if you want a large balcony. It didn't bother me with the other verandah's looking down there is plenty of privacy still. One thing to consider about all the extended verandah's is in windy conditions, (we sailed at the end of hurricane Sandy), they open the privacy panels for safety reasons, so your balcony isn't private and anyone in those rooms could walk between verandah's. I think we prefer the larger room to the larger balcony and will go with one of those next time. We don't spend that much time on the balcony. If only we could get one in this location because it was perfect!

Notes: We LOVED this room! The location was quiet and convenient...just a quick walk to take the kids to the club/lab. The big bonus was the HUGE verandah. Double wide & double deep. We could have had a party out there! We did not hear any noise from the nightclubs (I think we were too far forward for that to be an issue) and no noise from the kids Clubs next door either. I would definitely choose this room again!

Notes: Great cabin!!! Verandah is HUGE! No noise issues at all. Very nice cabin.

Notes: Excellent stateroom! We have sailed in it over 20 times and love it. It is as far aft as you can get, meaning that there is virtually no hallway traffic. The verandah rail is solid metal, but the verandah itself is larger than standard due to the curve of the ship. Also, because you only have one neighbor, you have a 50 percent lower chance of having a verandah smoker next door if you are a non-smoker. You will definitely get noise/vibration from the thrusters when docking, but we never find that to be a problem because that's typically when we are waking up anyway.

Notes: We booked a category 8 and were surprised with a free upgrade. Furthest aft starboard stateroom except for a suite. Curvature of ship makes for extra-large verandah, and you can see straight behind the ship. Quiet most of the time but very noisy early mornings of port calls because of the thrusters. A little bumpy with heavy weather, and being so far aft made this less than the best place to be; would rather be midships. Otherwise, would love this stateroom again!

Notes: This stateroom is the farthest aft you can get on the starboard side of the ship. There is never any noise and the verandah has more space than others because of the curvature of the ship. We would definitely stay here again!
