Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6042 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 5C Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 06/02/12

Notes: Great room! We loved the location between the mid and forward stairs. Real quick for my son to get to the Lab. A little bit of rust on the balcony but otherwise in great shape.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6042 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 5D Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/13/11

Notes: Closest port stateroom to the forward stairs. Very convenient. Verandah was nice, but looked down on one of the extended balconies (stateroom 5048, I believe). We could see those guests whenever they were near the rail. Usually not a problem, but they were smokers and the smoke would waft up to us from time to time.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6042 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/04/08

Notes: We loved this room location! It was very conveniently located between the forward and mid ship elevators. We did not have much traffic in the halls. We were never bothered by noise from the surrounding rooms or decks. The verandah was wonderful for escaping from the noise and crowds of the upper decks. The room seemed to be in great shape - no excessive wear of carpets, furniture, etc. My family will definitely request this stateroom again for future cruises!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6042 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 08/19/06

Notes: This is my second review of the same exact cabin because this was our second stay in this cabin. Once again, we LOVED the location and everything about this cabin and we're disappointed that it's counterpart on the Wonder isn't available for our next Disney cruise in February of '07, because we were ready to book this cabin again! :) This cabin wasn't noisy and is very convenient to both the forward elevators and the midship elevators. This time it was only my husband and I in the cabin (our sons were across the hall in 6043) and it was more than enough room for 2 adults. I have pictures of this cabin, from our 2004 cruise and 2006 cruise,

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6042 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 08/26/04

Notes: We loved this location because it was quiet, very convenient to the forward elevators and the mid elevators, and was basically in the middle of all of the decks that we went to regularly. On our western sailing, every single night we were on the side of the ship that faced the moon so we saw beautiful reflections of the light from the moon, on the ocean, every night. It was gorgeous, like a scene from a movie. We had a decent amount of room for DH, myself, and 2 teen sons. If you have younger kids, I think you'll find that this cabin is perfect. We've rebooked this exact cabin for our cruise in 2006. However, our sons will be in the inside cabin across the hall from us. They are the size of adults now, and for close to the same price, if you have "older" kids, it may be worth it to get them their own cabin. :)
