Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 4D Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/11/17

Notes: We booked VGT on this cruise and were assigned this room. Great location about halfway between both the aft and mid stairs/elevator. Very convenient to get to restaurants and bars. Directly above Oceaneer's Club but heard no noise from it whatsoever! Room in very good shape, no issues. Lots of storage space with the extra long desk/dresser.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/07/17

Notes: I loved this stateroom. It was one floor above the kids clubs which was convenient. It was far enough from the elevators that it was not disruptive (I would say it's closest to mid elevators). The floor is between the lower levels (restaurants and main events) and higher (pools and buffet). It was in great condition and our stateroom host "T" was amazing!!! We had views of Cozumel, Grand Cayman and a great view of Falmouth, Jamaica but not of Castaway Cay. Plenty of room for two adults and two litlte kids. There was room under the bed, two closets, an ottoman with storage and two chairs. Split bathroom with round tub/shower in one and toilet in the other.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 4D Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/11/12

Notes: This stateroom sleeps 4 with a convertible sofa and upper bunk. There is no murphy bed, although there was a wing chair. The stateroom was quiet, and although the lifeboats were right below it didn't appreciably affect the view. In fact, my daughter kept peering over the side, and I was comforted to know that on the off chance that she'd fall, she'd wind up on a lifeboat. I will say that the room was starting to show some wear. Stains on curtain, carpet, pillow couch, etc. We also found some stained sheets, and my daughters sheets on the couch had multiple holes (she did not make them). Our room steward was pretty mediocre, and some of this might be his lack of attention to detail. No noise from cabins on either side, little hall traffic (and pretty quiet out there), and no noise from above and below. There was some creaking, though, related to ship movement.

Notes: Quiet room, great location, everything in good condition, large enough for our family of 4 (including 6 & 10 year old boys), and we loved the veranda! Great room. Would definitely stay in it again.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 12/12/09

Notes: Great location. Close to elevators yet you can't hear any sound. The steamer trunk is nice for extra storage but sort of in the way. Love the split bath feature. Plenty of storage in closets and under the bed. Lifeboats below so you don't have to worry about walking too hard. One side of the balcony is solid which adds to privacy. Fronts are glass. Nice room.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/19/09

Notes: Perfect location right near midship elevators but not facing entrance where people gather to wait for elevator. No noise at all. Pull down bed from ceiling for 4th passenger. Would book this cabin next time if travelling on the Magic without a doubt.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 04/03/08

Notes: Cabin 6116 is just forward of the aft elevators, but is far enough away that you don't hear the elevator / lobby noise. The cabin is over the life-boats so you don't have to worry about downstairs neighbors. This cabin location is convenient to Deck 9. It is also convenient to the Buena Vista Theater, and to Animator's Palate, Parrot Cay, and the Aft Gangway. The cabin is set up so that when you enter, the split bathroom is to the right. There was plenty of storage room for our family of four. We only had problem with getting hot water in the tub/shower, but after we reported it, the "lines" were cleared of sand and other debris, and the hot water flowed. I wish we had called the first night instead of waiting to report it.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/09/08

Notes: Great location near the aft stairs without any noticeable noise from hall traffic or elevator area. Outside, one veranda wall is solid, floor to ceiling (most have gaps at the top & bottom of the walls), so we felt that this gave a little more privacy to the outside area than most. We felt this was the room's biggest asset after location considerations. On the 7 night Western, views from the ship were as follows; non quayside Port Canaveral ( a bit disappointing), out to sea Key West (good for viewing the sunset sailboat activities), distant views across to Cuba when sailing down the Caribbean (but not close enough to be of any real interest), distant bay views of Grand Cayman (however, the location is close to one of the tendering stations which was interesting), harbour view of Comuzel (better than the opposite side which looked directly onto a neighbouring cruise ship), and quayside at Castaway Cay (not great, but interesting watching all the quayside activities). No significant noise issues other than very occasional, slight mechanical noises - but absolutely nothing that would spoil your stay. No general room issues. Loved the position as its so handy for Deck 9, and most restaurants.....bit of a trek to the kids' clubs but no big deal. Would probably chose same cabin on opposite side though, for our next trip, just to get different views and for a change. However, I'm hoping that the opposite side will have the same solid wall veranda, otherwise we will book this one again in preference.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/09/08

Notes: Sorry, I should have clarified in the above report that the solid verandah (floor to ceiling) wall that I was refering to, was a SIDE wall, and not the "out to sea" wall, which is plexiglass.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/21/07

Notes: Quiet room very close to aft elevators. Room big enough, but the split baths, while convient, are small.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6116 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 07/18/07

Notes: Cabin 6116 is aft on the port side, very near the aft elevators. When you enter the hallway from the elevators, you turn right and it's two cabins down - far enough away that you don't hear the elevator / lobby noise. The cabin is over the life-boats so you don't have to worry about downstairs neighbors if your children have heavy footsteps. This cabin location is convenient to Topsiders, the Mickey Pool, Parrot Cay, Animators Palate, the Promenade Lounge, and of course the Aft Gangway. Just one floor up from the Oceaneer's Club and Lab and also the Buena Vista Theater. The cabin is set up so that when you enter, the split bathroom is to the right. There was plenty of storage room for our family of four. Everything was in working order and nothing seemed "worn." Feel free to contact me by PM through DISBoards for any specific questions or photos.
