Notes: It wasn't noisy at all. Never heard children or any other random noise outside the room. Never heard anything above, below or beside us. It was midship but you had to walk down the hall a bit to get to/from the midship elevators/stairs. I did like that you could go forward to mid elevators or back to the aft ones to go to Cabanas, the clubs or up to Palo. Returning was beautiful as you could take in a sunset as you were getting ready for the early show. Plenty of room for all five of us. We used all the drawers, hangers, and shelves and made it work. Bathroom items were able to be distributed between the two bathrooms. Beds were comfortable for all. We loved our bed and the kids never complained about theirs. The only thing that got cluttered was the desk. Speaking of the writing desk, the drawer comes off the rollers at some point. Also, the panel on the safe seemed to be pulled off a bit. The room is right above the life boats but we didn't mind it at all. Still plenty of good views to take in. Had gentle rocking but didn't bother any of us. No vibration and no bad smells the whole time. I would do this room again. |

Notes: Totally quiet room. Sleeps 5. Nearly equidistant to mid and aft elevaors. 6th floor made it pretty easy to take stairs to the 3-4-5 decks. We'd usually use the aft elevator to Cabanas and pool deck. |

Notes: Loved the verandah. Very clean. double bed, sofa bed, drop down from ceiling bed and murphy bed. Held my DH, 3 kids (10, 5,5) and myself very nicely. Nice drape to separate for sleep time. Not noisy @ all, except for morning pulling into bahamas, heard motors early in morning. Felt some motion but rough seas when we were sailing. Kid's rooms are down hall, down stairs and down short hall again, so pretty convenient. Bahamas view was of another ship, Castaway was not pretty view of island, but still nice view of water and people getting on and off. Would prefer other side next time for the view. |

Notes: The staterooms were very clean. Not a scratch on the tables, the bathrooms were VERY clean. The views from the vernandah at Castaway Cay was amazing, a great view of the island. At Nassau, the view was of a Carnival cruise ship. Great staerooms on a great cruise ship with a great cruise line. |

Notes: We had a great time in this cabin (previously, we had never had anything better than a cat. 9, so we have a limited basis for comparison.) It is very near (although not directly off of) the aft elevators, which made it literally about 3 minutes away from all the dining rooms.
The views were on the land side when docked--in Tunisia, camels posed for photos directly underneath you.
There was some creaking and grinding noises periodically, but nothing that kept us awake. In all, a nice room. |

Notes: HORRIBLE NOISE! Apparently this room is right over the life boat hydralic system and kid you not every 10 minutes this loud noise turned on for about 30 seconds and then turned off. We complained about it and they sent a technician to try to make it quieter and it only made it louder! Disney only offered us ear plugs and to change rooms but they were all in lower categories and we liked where we were. We decided not to move rooms and slept with ear plugs every night. If you are a light sleeper, do not book this room! Other than that the room iteself was great and spacious enough for my husband, daughter, and I. Our room steward did have to store two of our luggages for us as they didn't fit under the bed. His name was Roland and he was fantastic! Another odd thing I'd like to mention, is although this room is classified as a category 6, it has a clear veranda like the 5's! It was a very pleasant surprise! Bottom line, I would never book this room again! |

Notes: No problems at all with this room. We didn't have any issues with noise. The freight elevator mentioned earlier was noticeable, but only because I was listening for it. The elevator sounds like many other normal "ship noises." It didn't annoy us at all. This stateroom's lifeboat station is "T", which is in Animator's Palate (inside, out of the heat). |

Notes: This is a great room! Being Aft was surprisingly nice. It was convenient to the restaurants and most of the places we generally frequent. The only downfall was being clear across the ship from the Quiet Cove Area. There was very little wear and tear with the exception of a chuck of wood being missing from the set of drawers near the door. My Husband and I enjoyed it very much. There was a little noise issue with a freight elevator but we did not let that bother us at all! Oh! And you will be very lucky if Maricar is your stateroom attendant. She was, by far, the best we have ever had in 4 cruises! |

Notes: 6124 was an excellent room. It was actually pretty roomy for two people (my wife and I were on our honeymoon) and had plenty of space for all our clothes. The suitcases fit nicely in the floor of the closet or under the bed.
It is a great proximity to the Aft elevators, which allow you to easily get to Parrot Cay, Animator's Palate, Topsiders, and Shutters.
The room was not noisy at all and we enjoyed every minute we spent in there, especially with the amazing views from the verandah.
Great room! |

Notes: During the day, very nice. Across the hall is a service elevator which is pretty loud, but only got used in the morning (around 7 or 8) and wasn't used too often in the evenings (after 9).
There was some irritating creaking coming from the fixtures towards the end of the cruise.
And early one morning there was a loud woosh of sound, like a air valve being released that almost startled me into peeing my bed. |

Notes: Stateroom 6124 is a great room! It is very close to the elevators and isn't noisy at all. When at Castaway Cay or any port you can see the people put the gangway into place. Stateroom 6124 is very spacious. The split bath is very convieniant for families and getting ready at night. |
