Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 6126 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 6 | Category: 5C | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 10/04/18 | ||
Notes: We loved this room. Convenient to the aft elevators (convenient for some things, less for others) and quiet. It's across from the magic staff door, so you get glimpses into the interworkings of the ship magic. We didn't find that to add any noise really. Noise in general was non-existent.
Definitely recommend it. |

Notes: Location: Be aware that this room is located directly across from a service access area for the crew. Crew members are in and out of it constantly which means the heavy door slamming regularly and a bit of traffic in front of your door. This access room is where the luggage is brought up and taken down to the loading area. I think room service is also brought through this area as well. You can hear hydraulic motors running periodically. Sometimes you heard them late at night. Things usually calmed down in the late hours but it was still an annoyance. While I like staying in the general aft area, I would never pick this room again due to the noise. The room should have a reduced rate as I think this makes the location less premium.
Room: the room in general was in good shape. Plenty of drawer and closet space. Luggage fit under the bed for storage. The bed had a slight slope towards the edge of the bed so if I slept too close to the edge I felt like I might roll off. When the boat listed, the bed creaked. The couch springs were squeaky and noisy. Sure glad no one was sleeping on it.
The old style hair dryers are still mounted in the bathroom but much to my delight, a Babyliss dryer was in the vanity drawer. The downside was that the European outlet on the vanity that was needed for it was extremely loose and I had to improvise something to keep it plugged in.
The balcony railing is clear which was great.
Overall it was ok. |

Deck: 6 | Category: 4E | Location: Mid |

Notes: Quiet location. Everything worked well. Sleeps 5. Slightly more convenient to use aft stairs/elevators instead of crowds at midship. Easy walk down to 3-4-5 activites. |

Notes: It was a great fit for 5 people. There was pleanty of room and the verandah was amazing. It is right above the life boats but if you don't look straight down, you don't even notice they are there. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 6126 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 6 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 11/20/11 | ||
Notes: This is a very nice room. It is across from where they move the luggage but it is only an issue the 1st and last day it was never a problem. We had a problem with the shower head but it was fixed before we knew it. It was a great trip with an excellent room. It has the steamer trunck. |

Notes: Very convenient to aft elevators to get to all the food. The free drink station was directly above on deck 9. The room was fantastic and we would book it again. If we had to make a negative comment, on the last night directly across from the room door is where the luggage is collected for disembarkment. It got a little noisy until around 11PM but it wasn't like we could sleep anyway because we did not want the magic to end! |

Notes: Excellent cabin attendant, Kim. However, as this room is across from where they move luggage up and down on embarkation and disembarkation days, it is very noisy. Also, very funky smells in the hallway in this area... sewage kinds of smell... apparently there is some valve or connection in that area that vents from the bathrooms. |

Notes: The luggage handling room was across the hall, so there was some noise the first afternoon, and the last night, but that was all. Deck 6 is great, you can walk up the three flights to get beverages, or down three flights to the restaurants. Loved the veranda! We sat out and watched the crew unload the ship at Castaway Cay, and even listened to the music that was pumped in from the island. |

Notes: It was an excellent room, close to the stairs and elevators. It was very easy to get up to deck 9 (for drinks/Topsiders/pool/sun)and very easy to get to Animators/Paradise Cay). I think we were only 3 rooms from the entrance to the stairs/elevators.
The stateroom stewards access elevators/storage areas were directly across from our room, they often had their carts outside of our room, we never heard them at night.
What a site to see how they handle/organize luggage. They just mound it in this little space and send it down in the elevators.
Overall the room was excellent. Beds were comfortable, verandah was great. If I book again I will request this same room/location!
