Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 6166 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 8D Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/20/14

Notes: Room was large and spacious for family of 3. Could sleep 4. Murphy bed was thin pad style mattress whereas sofabed was thicker and more comfortable. Window is great! Room does vibrate at times. It didn't bother us while sleeping.

Notes: Stayed in this cabin and the connected 6168. They are mirror images of each other except for a column in 6166 which results in the pulldown/murphy bed in 6166 to be about 5 inches narrower than the one in 6168. The column is against the wall and is not intrusive. This room has a pulldown bed where a verandah would be, so it is quite large. The porthole window is huge and has a curved padded area that can be laid upon, although my adult sized back had to bend a little too much to use it. Lots of storage - more than we were able to use on a 4 night trip. The pulldown bed blocks access to two lower drawers (there are three) when it is folded down. We were able to place our very large suitcases under the bed. Our kids loved the toybox/ottoman, although the safety hinge that keeps the lid from slamming down was broken. Divider curtain in center of cabin was appreciated by my older son who created a privacy area for himself. This separates the main bed area from the couch/pull down area. Tv is mounted on a swing arm that can be pointed to either side of the divider curtain. If left centered both areas can see it. Loved the overhead shower. The separate movable shower head could be positioned very low to make it like a regular shower for my kids. Two hanging lines available in the circular tub. View of the dock at Castaway and Nassau. View of other ships at Port Orlando. View of the verandah of the cabin on the deck below slightly forward. Quiet room. Felt slight vibrations when ship was over 20 knots while in bed. Docking created more obvious vibrations. The mattress on the pull down bed had a sunken area where an adults butt would be but was not an issue for my 4yo. It would have bothered me. Easy access to Oceaneers, Animator's Palette and aft elevators. Very little traffic in hallway. Also appreciated the higher shelves for storing things we did not want little kids to get. Connecting doors have a magnetic catch to help hold them open and are located on the cabinetry side of the cabin.

Notes: We enjoyed this room and would book it again. It's very close & convenient to the aft elevators but we rarely heard noise/people in the hallway. There was some slight noise & vibration during docking. This cabin sleeps 4. Instead of the usual pull down bunk from the ceiling above the sofa bed, this had a murphy bed that pulled down from the side wall opposite the desk. The length was slightly longer than the sofa bed so my 14 yr old liked it. The only negative about the murphy bed is that it blocked access to the window while the bed was down. Not a huge hassle but not easy to simply stand there and look out the window. The porthole window is huge, almost floor to ceiling. Much larger than what we're used to in Cat. 9 on the Magic. Also the desk/cabinet is very long (much longer than the Cat 5B we had last time on the Dream) with so much storage that some cabinets went empty even with 2 adults, 2 teens there for 7 nts. This cabin has a split bath with round shower/tub that has a small seat area with multiple shelves for shampoo, etc. Also besides the handheld shower device, it had an additional shower from the ceiling with great water pressure. Nice feature! The shower has 2 retractable clothes lines. Great cabin!

Notes: I just wanted to add that the muster station for this cabin was section M, Port side of Deck 4.
