Notes: Staterooms 7162 and 7164: the wide metal siding/decor was between these two verandahs. It was approximately a 14 inch encroachment which didn't block our view from inside the cabin - our couch was on the right/forward side of the stateroom and when seated and looking out from the stateroom to the horizon, we couldn't even see the metal siding. But, when seated on the verandah and looking forward, the siding was very noticeable; if I were booking a cabin well in advance and paying full fare for a 5C stateroom, I would choose a different cabin which didn't have a slightly obstructed view.
We could also feel a lot of vibration at night.
Very convenient to the aft stairs and elevator. |

Notes: This is a Family Ocean View, and it is very spacious. It sleeps 5 (with a bunk bed that comes down from ceiling and a murphy bed that comes down from the wall), but we had only 3 people. It is aft, so it's very convenient to most of the restaurants and lounges.
We didn't experience any noise, and I'm a very light sleeper. On a couple of days/nights, we felt a little movement and vibration but nothing that bothered us at all. It felt more like being rocked to sleep.
I would definitely recommend this room to anyone considering it. Of course, mid-ship would be a more central location, but those rooms are very pricey. |

Notes: There were 3 of us in the room and it was wonderful. My niece slept on the bed that pulls down from the ceiling, which kept the sofa available for sitting. We found the cabin very roomy -- the extra length really made a difference. My parents were in the adjoining cabin 6176 and they didn't have the ceiling bed, only the murphy bed. Very convenient to kids clubs one floor down. I'm not crazy about the aft location, not my first choice...prefer midship. Noise didn't disturb me at all, although you could hear the engines at times. Nice view at Nassau. |

Notes: Convenient to kids club one floor lower. Not convenient to dining rooms. Quiet except for when the captain backed in the ship to Castaway Cay and Nassau I awoke to what I thought was an earthquake. I think the propellers are below the staterooms. It was extremely loud for twenty minutes, which wouldn't have bothered me except it was sometime in the 6 o'clock hour in the morning! Nice size, perfect for two adults and two small kids. Cushioned windowseat, a little narrow for a grownup to recline comfortably. |

Notes: Adjoining room to 6176 which we also had. One room alone would have been too small for family of 5. Quiet area, close to aft elevators but did not notice noise. We had rough seas and corner aft room may not have been the best for that. Do not like the fact that aft elevators take you directly to Cabanas, have to walk thru it to get to the pools on deck 11. |
