Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6319 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 11B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 04/23/17

Notes: Great location down a private, short hall. Only noise came from the Crew Member door and that was not disturbing. Not a split bath but it is right down from the elevator just a few short steps. I would happily stay here again.

Notes: Stateroom 6319 is a standard inside stateroom (Cat 11B) at the front of the ship. It is just a few cabins away from a freight elevator which the crew uses to transport luggage on the first afternoon, as well as the day prior to arriving back at the home port. Fortunately, noise from these activities was never a problem for us, nor could we hear the elevator throughout the 7 days we were aboard. This cabin is close to the forward passenger elevator, which usually was not very busy. This elevator was very convenient to get to: adult pool on deck 9, Walt Disney Theatre on deck 4, and the forward gangplank for port days. Note that it is a long walk to the beverage and ice cream stations on deck 9. Overall condition of this stateroom was very good. You only get one bathroom (as compared to some of the split bathrooms in other cabins), however you do get a tub/shower which parents with little kids will love). There is little storage in the bathroom (apparently this is the case for most of the staterooms), so consider bringing an over-the door toiletry kit or shoe holder to increase storage in here. There is a hook on the bathroom door which makes hanging extra storage easy. There also is a retractable laundry line over the tub making it easier to dry out you wet clothes. There was one problem with the bathroom - the faucet had a slow drip that we could not get rid of. Suspect this just needs a new washer to fix - it was reported to the cabin steward. There is a small fridge in the stateroom. It was sufficient to keep several drinks cool throughout the cruise. You do have to open three doors to get it open, one of which rubs against the hinge of one of the other doors, but it is not difficult to open or close. Be aware that the muster drill requires a fair bit of walking from this cabin. You will have to walk forward to the front end of deck 6 (starbord side), walk down several flights of stairs, walk back to where the forward elevator is on deck 4, then cross over to the port side and walk aft a bit further to the muster station. This cabin has a queen bed and a fold down sofa. Easily accomodated 2 adults and one child. Might be a little tight for a larger family. Overall we were very pleased with this cabin and would be happy to have this cabin again. One last note for those cruising shortly after us - our cabin attendant was Suresh and he was absolutely fantastic. He went out of his way to keep us happy. Our little one had a meltdown one night when the towel animal fell apart, and Suresh knocked on our door to see if there was anything he could do to help after hearing her crying. Even though he still had a number of cabins to turn down, he was took the time to re-make the towel animal for her, and asked her if she had any requests for other animals for the rest of the cruise. He was always polite and friendly whenever we saw him in the hallways, and he always asked if we needed anything. Count yourself very lucky if he's still there when you go on your cruise!

Notes: This state room is in kind of center hall sandwhiched between the main halls. No noise even when pulling to port. Extremely convenient to everything. No view because it is an inside room. Peidad was our stateroom hostess and was FABULOUS. Room service was fast and wonderful. For 2 people it was very comfortable. I would definately book this cabin again.
