Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 6530

Notes: This room connects with 6528, which our party also had on this trip. Both rooms open directly to the forward stairs/elevator area, which I was initially concerned about, but we seriously never heard any noise from outside our room. I ended up loving this location because it was directly below the "cove" adult pool and coffee bar which we used everyday. It was also directly above the theatre and adult nightclubs (Keys, Fathom, etc) which was normally where we ended up every night. Deck 6 was perfect for us, because we don't use the elevators, and instead use the stairs as our justification to eat and drink till our heart's content, so we rarely had to climb more than 3-4 stories at a time to get where we were going (pools are on deck 9 and clubs/restaurants are on decks 3&4). It seemed to me that most of the action on this ship (at least for adults and tweens/teens) is in the forward/mid ship areas. If you have really little ones - aft is where the little kid's pool and nursery are and you may be happier there. No complaints about the room itself or the motion of the boat not being mid-ship. We had pretty rough seas one day and you really could not feel much difference being in the front versus the middle. The stateroom is a typical small but adequate stateroom with a verandah. I would choose this location again if we were on the Magic in the future.

Notes: We had this room and the adjoining 6532. 6530 does have the bunk beds..6532 only has sofa and big bed. They were able to open the verandah so we could have a double verandah, that was nice. Split bathroom but no round shower..the shower we had was nice. Everything well kept and lots of storage! Very close to forward elevators..seemed to feel the motion of the ship a bit more than our other two cruises...but never been in Atlantic so that could have been a difference. Not noisy, never heard a sound :) These balconies do look directly down on extended balconies on deck 5 but rarely saw people out there.

Notes: Room was great! We had joining room with my parents in 6528 and it was perfect. Dad was in a wheelchair and it was perfect location to the elevators. View was unobstructed and no noise. Room was very clean. Only complaint we had was the showerhead that was clogged and maintenance came within minutes to put a brand new one in.

Notes: Perfect room! We've requested this again for 2008. There will be five families then-cabins all in a row at this location. 6530 was not noisy, near forward elevators, easy to walk down or up to activities. Great view of the Flying Dutchman coming into Castaway Cay. Storage was great, veranda view lovely, double bathrooms a plus. Definitely recommend!

Notes: This room was available as a Port Upgrade from a Cat 9! This room was in an excellent location. This room was Steps from the forward elevators, that were never busy. The nightclubs are forward on Deck 3 and the Spa is forward on Deck 9 so literally steps to these locations. Loved the balcony and the room was very clean. Both stops at CC we had a great view of the island. This room is on the starboard side. This room has a trunk. Underneath deck 6 are the lifeboats. Around 9 am on CC day, they deployed the lifeboats and you can hear the noise underneath your cabin. We were up, and it was neat to see, so more of an observation and not a complaint. Convenient to Deck 6 laundry also which is midship. Very convenient to kids Labs on Deck 5 Mid. 2nd most forward balcony. Would definitely book this room again especially for what we paid!
