Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6543 Condition: 3
Deck: 6 Category: 11A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/17/11

Notes: Received this room on a gty status. Room has been updated with new linens and ipod dock alarm clock. Everything was in decent shape. No noise heard from above/below (was in the room many different times of the day and never heard a thing). The one problem is this room CREAKS - and when the ship rocks (the wonder seemed to really be having some stabilizer problems that affected the entire ship), this room creaked - LOUDLY - the first night there was a very loud creak that seemed to come from the bed up in the ceiling. Maintenance looked at it and the creak was still there but much quieter. The rest of the room would really creak at night when the boat was moving faster. We were able to sleep through it, as it kind of sounded like rain hitting a window, and we live in the Pacific Northwest and sleep with rain hitting our windows all the time. Shower was an issue - would be EXTREMELY hot to luke warm to cold all on the same setting. We got burnt several times. I did report this and got no answer. I put it on the comment card. Room was not showing any major wear and tear, and if not for the creaking, would be very quiet. Was very close to the elevators that take you directly down to the theater and gift shop areas, and also close to the mid ship elevators that take you down to the entrace area to the main lobby.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6543 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 11 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 06/06/07

Notes: We really liked the location -- it was especially easy to get to Oceaneer's Club. And we liked the inside cabin just fine. Kids slept on couch and fold down bunk bed. No problem with noise. Cabin gets dark (which was good for naps) and we were glad we brought a nite lite and digital alarm clock that lights up. Fridge worked fine. Not too far from mid and aft elevators.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6543 Condition: 3
Deck: 6 Category: 11 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/03/05

Notes: Quite Noisy. We were immediately above the Oceaneer Lab. At night and mid-afternoon (when we napped) you could clearly hear the staff using the mics and playing music and movies. The noise was so loud that the floor vibrated with the sound.

Notes: I should have added that the location of the room was great. Being in the middle was nice since we were fairly close to everything, but the noise was a deterant.
