Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/01/14

Notes: This was a great location, just off the mid-ship elevators/stairs. There was a significant amount of noise at night. 3 of 5 nights I was awoken by the noise of pressure washers - probably the water going up through the walls of the ship, though it sounded more like motor noise. There were some loud people by the elevators more than once. Coming out of the room leads into a very busy part of the hallway, more than once I scared some little kids. All-in-all not a deal-breaker room - we had a great cruise - though I'd look for other options given the chance.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/26/13

Notes: This stateroom is in such a great location, only one floor down to the kids clubs. In Nassau you get a great view of Atlantis and Castaway Cay you get a gorgeous view of the beach. We are a family of 4 (2 Adults, 2 Children (5 & 2.5) and it was perfect. The only "complaint" I have is that the midship elevators are the most crowded so if you must use the elevator and cannot take the stairs you might consider this when booking this stateroom. The only noise we ever heard was an occasional ding from the elevators and on Halloween night we heard the Adult Costume Party cheers but nothing bothersome. We would book this room again in a heartbeat for a future cruise!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 3
Deck: 6 Category: 5 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 03/10/11

Notes: I would've rated this cabin higher but the noise from the Buena Vista Theatre below prevents me from doing so. The noise was very apparent while they were showing Tron Legacy. Unfortunately, they chose to show it twice in the late evening... not cool! It was not as noticable when other (quieter) movies were playing. I would not book this cabin again if I have the choice.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 3
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/17/09

Notes: This room is right off the midship elevators. I only heard the mechanical noise others reported once. It had the new flat screen tv and is in ok condition. It does need some TLC though with nicks in the wood and new carpeting. Perfect view of Castaway and Nassau from the verandah. Room enough for 2 adults and 2 children.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 03/19/09

Notes: Fabulous central location, most convenient with kids in the Oceaneers Club and Lab. Balcony had a solid wall to our left (couldn't spy on those neighbors -- and vice versa!) but the usual "peekaboo" wall to the right (could have seen those neighbors if we stood near the rail and peered toward their balcony). Some mechanical noise overnight as reported by others, but we barely noticed it. Would request this room again in the future.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/24/09

Notes: Loved the convenience of being near the elevators and perfectly mid-ship. Love the starboard side. One deck above the kids' clubs, so nice and convenient to just walk downstairs to the clubs. Didn't notice a lot of "elevator" traffic noise (which was a concern prior to the cruise). At times it was noisy. Sounded like a whale was undearneath our room. Never figured out what it was. Noticed it a lot the first night, but not enough to wake us up. It would come and go. Not enough to complain about either, but I thought I'd mention it. I'd book this room again based on convenience alone.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/22/08

Notes: We loved being close to the elevators and mid ship. I was worried about all the traffic being close to the elevators and while there WAS traffic you couldn't hear it inside the room. The stateroom attendent was excellent. The only incident was the last night of the cruise young teenage boys were fooling around and bouncing off my walls and door and then knocked on my door and ran. I didn't bring any magnets or FE's because of the closeness to the elevators. There was plenty of room and we had an excellent view of CC both days. Loved watching it come into view and was very sad to watch us pull away.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 2
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 08/14/08

Notes: we really liked this room when we first saw it but we were woken at about 2am on our first night by a very loud noise that continued until about 4:30am. It seems there is a pipe behind the wall in this room that carries water up for the deck power washers. We were moved the next day

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/25/08

Notes: This room was great! We had 2 adults and 2 teens in this cabin and had enough room. We loved the convenient location to the elevators. We never noticed any noise. We loved the view of Castaway Cay from our verandah. I only wish I could have booked this room on our next cruise, but it wasn't available.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6558 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/27/06

Notes: Loved the location(starboard). Right next to elevator/stairs. One floor up from kids' clubs. We faced CC when docked. Great pictures. We may move down the hall a little next time. Some nights were a little noisy as Teens/Tweens were hanging out near elevators/stairs. Bothered DH. No other noises heard. Loved the verandah. I highly recommend it.I fell asleep out there many a nights. I think I'm totally spoiled now. Don't know if I could do a porthole cabin. The colors of the ocean were fantastic. Hope this report helps someone.

Notes: Have been on Disney cruises 8 times since 1999 to various places & have had different rooms in cat 5 & 6. 6558 was as good as the others except to close to elevators as you can hear noice all night from folks coming & going.
