Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6562 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 07/11/16

Notes: We did not mind our room even with a bit of an obstructed view. What I did not like was a bell ringing at 5 a.m. when we departed and arrived port. I do not understand what the bell ringing was for but it certainly woke me up. I will be calling customer service to discuss. Otherwise, great location near elevators and overall quiet.

Notes: I think the cabin was pretty standard for an oceanview with verandah. Everything was in working order although the room is electrical outlet challenge. I brought a US extension code but the outlets at the head of the bed are the European two-prong (round) so I had to borrow a longer one from GS to plug in behind the TV. It was a non-connecting room so that was nice not to hear the cabin next door. We really didn't hear noise from anywhere else (hallways, above/below). The room did squeak a little in choppier seas but it didn't bother me. The location was excellent, right next to the midship elevators and one deck up from the kids' clubs. It's nice to be so close to the elevator lobby but just slightly down the hall. One bonus is that across the hall from next door (6564) is a door to the mini-atrium with the Ariel mural that goes up to deck 9. My DD's loved it and named it "the cave". I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6562 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 5D Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/26/11

Notes: The room location is WONDERFUL. Midship and close to elevators. The only noise that I noticed was the shuffleboard on the deck below. The cons (which may be rectified before someone else notices them): The room is not wearing well. The table/ storage chest is beat up, the trim board on the closets is off and just propped on.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6562 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 12/15/07

Notes: The room is very close to the kids clubs which was a huge plus for us. It's mid ship location gave us a great view of every port and we loved being close to everything on the ship. Our only negative comment is about the slight creaking/popping noise that made going to sleep at night a little difficult. We reported it to our stateroom host but I don't think they could locate the source. Otherwise a great stateroom!

Notes: The room itself is excellent. Roomy, very quiet, even though it is right near the mid-ship elevators. Island view at Castaway Cay; beautiful view of Nassau also. Very convenient to Oceaneer Lab. We did have a problem with the smell of diesel fumes on the veranda, so we couldn't use it. The crew tried everything to rectify the situation, with no luck. We were given a credit when we returned. It was our understanding that the fumes were from the funnels (stacks) and would be addressed at dry dock.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6562 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/10/05

Notes: This was a great room, didn't hear much of anything from out side our cabin, verandah was nice, very nice view of Key West and since we backed into Castaway Cay we had a wonderful view of the island and the beaches there great for picture taking. Room is very close to midship elevators and stairs, one deck up from kids club and lab, laundry room just a short walk down the hall. Easy walk up stairs to deck nine or down to deck 3 and 4 for dinner. Cruised with my 3 daughters and we had plenty of room lots of storage space. I was upgraded to this room, so that made it really nice.

Deck: 6 Category: 6 Location: Mid

Notes: This was a beautiful, cozy room. Lots of storage. I unpacked 7 bags, stowed them under the bed, and still had room for more. The queen bed was SO comfortable. My kids loved the bunks, too. The views in the ports were very nice (Paradise Island at Nassau, and the Lagoon at CC). Close to mid-ship elevators, but we almost never heard noise from outside. Very convenient to Oceaneer Lab and Club. Only very minor thing was a little bit of the faux-wood covering was coming off in the toilet room.
