This was a hearing accessible room, only noticeable difference was the doorbell. Only issue we had with the room was a loose shelf in the bathroom. View looks down onto the crew area of deck 5. Clear view outward. Not noisy, convenient to aft main dining locations via stairs. We had 5 in the room and had space for all our stuff (thought we brought extra hooks). |

Notes: Very close to the elevator for quick access straight up or down to the buffet, pool, drink stations, deck parties, adult bars, and animators palate. I loved being able to walk down one flight of stairs and get to the kids club so quickly. The tub is rectangular if that matters to you. The verandah overlooked an extended verandah on deck 5, so no lifeboat but we did feel like we were intruding on someone's privacy every time we looked down. I did not notice any noise from elevator traffic or from above or below. No problems from the kids club below. We did notice vibrations the first night and when pulling into ports, but it wasn't horrible. It is a pretty far hike to the laundry room. I would book this room again. |

Notes: Great room. Has a connecting door, but we never heard any noise from the room next door. Convenient to the aft elevators...a little trek for midship ones. The veranda looks down onto a veranda on Deck 5. I chose this room because I had read reviews that the veranda view was of the water...in between 2 life boats. It is not. It's not noticeable at all unless you are looking straight down though. I'd just hate to be those poor people on that deck 5 veranda! Room had lots of storage. Plenty of room under the bed for all of our luggage and we loved the storage chest instead of a coffee table! Room was quiet. Only time we heard anything from outside was when the veranda door was open. When it's shut you don't hear a thing. Only thing we noticed was that you had to make sure to pull the stateroom door shut all of the was when leaving the room or it wouldn't catch. We came back one day to find that it was open...it had never actually closed all the way. Other than that...no problems! Motion was minimal. This room is only 2 away from "midship" rooms. There was much more motion in the forward part of the ship than this part. |

Notes: This room is nicely located near the aft lifts and we never had noise pollution from the hallway or neighbors. The verandah overlooks an extended balcony on deck 5, but it has a great view of Castaway Cay and the only noise at night is the ship slicing through the ocean. |

Notes: Quiet room with no staterooms across the hall. Overlooks an extended balcony but has a great view of the ocean. A far aft room so great for accessing Cabanas, Europa and the dining rooms. Highly recommend the room for its lack of hallway noise and relative protection from feeling ship movement. |

Notes: Great room! Close to the AFT stairs and elevators which meant easy access to the Oceaneer Lab and Club one floor down (they say their midship but they are really AFT). Very little noise as it sits right before the hall way to midship. I also thought the sound installation on the fantasy much improved over the magic. large space. verandah looks over to an extended verandah on the 5th floor and then the ocean (no life boats in the way). Really great room! |

Notes: The room was great. Very clean, everything worked well. Our room attendant (Louisa) was the best. We looked forward to her towel art nightly. The only minor inconvenience was that water pooled on the veranda when they washed the upper decks. I would take this room again. |

Notes: Love this location! The solid wall is no big deal because I never sat on balcony, just stood out there when we were coming into port in the mornings. But hallway was super quiet and we could sneak up back stairs to Topsiders..... And being on port side was great for St Thomas and Castaway Cay so we could see the island well..... |

Notes: As mentioned previously, this cabin is aft on Deck 6. We had no real problems with this cabin and it was fine. This was our 17th DCL cruise and we have stayed pretty much all over the ship. The location was very convenient to aft "secret" deck on Deck 7 and to the back entrance of Topsiders (you wind up at the end of the buffet line by the outside eating area of Topsiders). To get there you go up the aft stairs that are not listed on the deck plan to Deck 8 then make a right, a left and then another right down a small hallway. Around the corner is another set of curved stairs that lead right into Topsiders.
Cabin has no steamer trunk which was OK with 2 people but if there were 3 or more you would need it for more storage space. As mentioned we heard the thrusters and felt the vibrations when ship was coming into ports.
The verandah still pools water and we had to have guys come and wet vac the veranda to get rid of the water. They also did the cabins on either side of us as well.
An advantage to the solid wall verandahs back here is that there are deeper than regular verandahs and thus have more space.
All in all was a fine cabin and I would stay there again. The only reason I gave it a 3 and not a 5 was the lack of a stamer trunk and the pooling of water on the verandah. |

Notes: The only noise was broken AC vent (rattled all night) - but they got that fixed for us and it was very quiet the rest of the trip. Just a gentle humm from the engines that was actually good, soothing which noise. The only other noise was during docking when the dock was port side. It rattled and shook very much for about 15 minutes. I think the thrusters are directly under this room (this room is starboard; it rattled when we docked port side).
Very convenient to the "secret" deck on 7 aft. A bit too far aft for my taste in relation to elevators.
Gorgeous view of Castaway Cay.
Missing the steamer trunk - seemed a little narrower than room that has trunk.
Has a white wall verandah - you have to stand to see out. Water pooled on verandah after it rained. |

Notes: General- The room was spacious, clean, and looked better then we could have imagined.
Verandah- The verandah was solid walled instead of plexiglassed.
Noise- There was always a slight vibration "present" throughout the entire cruise. It did get noisy when he stern thrusters were in force. The light in the bathroom also rattled when the stern thrusters were on. We taped this to stop the shaking.
This room was located on the starboard side of the ship...I didnt have any problems with the sound...just the rattling of the light in the bathroom.
