Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 6654 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 6 | Category: 5C | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 11/25/23 | ||
Notes: Quiet room, especially at night, though we could hear the neighbours' kids occasionally when they were yelling. Did not feel much ship rocking. Most convenient to forward elevators and forward personal laundry. Great views of Castaway Cay and Grand Cayman. Tons of room for our family of 4 (kids aged 7 and 9). Lots of storage for large luggage under bed and enough drawers and closet space for all of our stuff. Comfortable beds and couch. Spacious split bathroom spaces with 2 retractable clothes lines in shower for drying bathing suits. One USB outlet and about three regular outlets for charging devices. Spacious verandah with very safe and sufficiently tall railings; very safe child lock on verandah door. Nicely decorated. Would choose this stateroom again. |

Notes: First off the room is huge. It's a handicap accessible cabin.
Pros:
1. The size of the room
2. The size of the balcony. It's enormous. We could have thrown a party out here
3. There's a storage closet which is great to store your luggage
Cons:
1. At the back of the ship
2. No bathtub. It's a large shower with a curtain and the floor can get wet.
3. Room vibrates when pulling in and out of port. If you want to sleep in on a port day, good luck
4. If it's rocky, you WILL feel it. I have never gotten sea sick, but did get sick one night.
5. no curtain to separate the room
6. no drawer space. There used to be a dresser but it's no longer there.
The cons didn't really affect us except for the one night I got sick. While I did miss the bathtub with a toddler, we loved having the extra room. If someone had a wheelchair or ECV, I think there is plenty of room to get around. |

Notes: This room was in a perfect spot. We had two adults and two kids in the room. Right next to the aft stairs and elevators, I was worried about noise but it was very quiet! With the kids, this location was perfect to go down one floor and be right by the kids clubs. Going up to 11 was right in the center of cabanas. I would choose this room again !
This cabin connects to 6652. |

Notes: Actually date was 1/23/2010 but Sail Date doesn't offer 2010 yet :)
This is a HC room and it was HUGE! Has walk in shower (with fold down seat) and a regular tub in the bathroom. Sitting area with sleeper sofa to side of the bed area. Extra closet was large enough to hold 2 wheelchairs when folded in. Emergency buttons on night stand beside bed that can be activated if needed. Verandah was really huge with table with 6 chairs and then plenty of open space around |

Notes: The handicap stateroom was an "upgrade" for us. It is on the very back of the boat with a huge veranda (2 beach chairs and a table for 6). It gives wonderful views at all ports. The room was very spacious and quiet. Because it is aft, the walks to theaters are the longest...but really not a big deal. Overall, a wonderful room!!! |

Notes: This a handicap accessible room with a huge verandah. (A doctor's medical form is needed to request this room.)The room itself ( and bathroom) is also huge..half of the rear of the ship on Deck 6. The hallway is nice & private. There is plenty of room to manuever a wheelchair. The view is starboard..awesome at all ports. |
