Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 6673 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 8A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/27/18

Notes: We loved this room and location. Definitely heard noises and vibrations when pulling into port and at times throughout the night, but it wasn’t disruptive. I was really the only one in my family who noticed at all. Location is great. Would still stay in this room again!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 6673 Condition: 3
Deck: 6 Category: 10A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/27/11

Notes: We chose this room because, at the time of booking, there was still a very big cost difference between the inside and veranda staterooms. For our family of four (including DS6 and DS7), there was not enough storage space to empty all of our luggage for our back to back cruise. Closet space to hang clothes was fine, but shelf/drawer space was limited. There was a lot of storage for the luggage itself under the bed, and DH wound up pulling his suitcase out for his clothes every day. The beds for the kids were great (lower couch that converted to a bed and upper pullman bed). For some reason I thought the ceiling over the upper bed would be lit, but it was just a picture of the stars. The virtual porthole was great - we loved to see which characters were going to come up next and it was nice to see what was going on outside the ship. I really missed our usual balcony rooms though. The cabin felt very small, but we expected that going in. I know everyone loves the split baths, but I kept leaving something I needed in the other bathroom! We have never been in a location so far aft, and I really did not like it - every time we pulled into port (which was EVERY day on our B2B, as we got an extra day at Castaway Cay) the vibration woke me up extremely early, which is not something I want to happen on my vacation. Some days this lasted quite a long time. I will never have a cabin this far back on a ship again. The location itself was convenient to the Oceaneer's Club and Cabana's. The cabin was in very good shape (except the clock radio time was always wrong) and our cabin steward was wonderful. I was glad we stayed in this cabin once, especially for the price we got, but will choose a different cabin next time.
