Notes: Categorized as an obstructed view, but I have no idea why. The views from this aft verandah are amazing. It does connect to the HA next door, but no noise issues. The HA is an oceanview, so there is only one neighboring verandah. You may hear the flag flapping when in port, but it is not large enough to cover any part of the verandah. There is some vibration when the ship backs into port, but not bad. Muster station is inside Evolution, which is nice. No bunk, sleeps 3 only. |

Notes: NOISE - from the neighboring staterooms... no. But from the engine... YES! Generally, anywhere on the ship you can hear the engine and some vibrations when it's going into port. But this area is really loud at night. Leading to the first day at sea and going towards Cozumel was loud. I'm guessing it's trying to make up for time. One revieweer mentioned the sound was like a jack hummer. I read that before our cruise, and kept telling myself when I was going to bed why the heck did I not listen to that review. I considered it more like you are driving on a cobblestone road. But for hours! The second night I put on some earplugs that helped, but I was awaken around 4:30am from the vibrations pretty much every morning.
CONVENIENCE - the location is convenient to the eatery area like Cabanas, the dining halls, and the 4th deck bars. But we spent a lot of time around the theater, the movies, spa/gym, and the shops area. It took us some time getting to the shows. We had to give ourselves some extra time getting to the Forward area of the ship.
VIEWS - Yes! I probably spent more time in the verandah at this stateroom than any others. It is longer and more room than others. Since I'm waking up earlier from the all the vibration, I usually hangout there with the coffee taking pics and time-lapse as we port. I always looked forward for the flag going up every morning. It has an awesome view of Castaway Cay for sure.
ROOM - It's the same layout as the other similar category staterooms. It does NOT have a bunk bed. The door to the stateroom seems tight since it's directly abut to the handicap access room. You only have one neighboring verandah to the right. The one to the left it looks like just bunch of port holes. The crew members do access the verandah while at port.
OVERALL - it's a nice room, clean and well kept. The engine noise is something to get use to at night. It is far from activities located in the Forward of the ship. Easy access to the food, bar, and entertainment area at the Aft. Updated alarm clock with two usb port chargers. There are two usb port chargers on desk area too. And the TV system seems to be been updated as well. The desk drawer didn't have back to it though.
We'll most likely not book this room or any stateroom around the Aft area. We definitely like the Forward / Midship area a lot better. |

Notes: This was probably the quietest room we've been in on any of the Disney ships. The whole boat vibrates when the ship goes into reverse; this room was no exception to that. Aside from that, very quiet. The neighboring rooms bathrooms are on the opposite walls, so you don't hear their toilet flush. The balcony was a nice size, with a terrific view!
I would book this room again. It was an upgrade from at GTY 8B. |

Notes: sleeps 3 (no pull down bunk). queen bed and single sofa bed only. fabulous large verandah with 2 deck chairs and small table (we pulled out the desk chair for additional seating). no flag issue (could hear it flap a little when in port). rectangle tub. some vibration but nothing horrible. would definitely book this room again. connects to 6686 (corner HA ocean view room). no soot on verandah that I noticed. |

Notes: Veranda was a little larger than others of same category since it was on the back curve of the ship. We were next to the flag; the flag was a little noisy in port when the wind was blowing hard but it was taken down once under way. Once we closed the outside door, we hardly heard anything. We had a great view, aft of course, but also partly to the side. Only complaint was the soot that gathered on the floor of the veranda. The room host did clean it up every day. |

Notes: The room was meticulous and the verandah was huge and right over Sorcerer Mickey. Being aft was a pretty long trek from elevators. The beds were super comfy. The biggest downside was the noise and vibrations when docking as the ship backs into ports. |

Notes: Rear facing room near the flag on deck six. Great views when in port. Room was clean, well taken care of, and beautifully maintained by Freddy from India. We felt a little more movement in the room than in midship. My only complaint is that the room vibrated and was noisy whenever the ship went into reverse. Since the Dream backed into every port, we joked that we didn't need an alarm clock to know when we were coming in to port.
Overall, great ship, great crew, great cruise. |

Notes: Positives the views from the aft were excellent and special you are right above Mickey and the verandah seemed larger than side verandahs. People noise was very limited which was nice. Negatives the vibration from engines when the Dream is going at a good pace is pretty bad, our bed was like a old quarter vibration bed Almost couldnt sleep at 2 am. The walk could be annoying if you have mobility issues or children obviously pretty far from the closest elevator, I underestimated the daily inconvenience. The price was nice this was a GTY upgrade so I cant complain when you weigh the pros and cons. |
