Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7122 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/22/11

Notes: This room was slightly more to the aft than a true mid-ship location. This cat 4C did NOT have the murphy bed, although its connecting room 7124 does. This location was convienient for us, as you were going the same distance weather you used aft or midship elevators. We had 2A 1C in this room, and it was very spacious for us. No discernable noise, and very very minimal motion feeling on the last night.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 7122 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 7 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/27/08

Notes: We very much enjoyed our cabin. We were the first full-length cruise after dry-dock, so the stateroom had a brand new flat-screen television and brand new safe that no longer requires a magnetic strip card to open/close. Honestly, the only thing that I can say should be improved is the couch bed. We had three adult women in this room, so I ended up sleeping here. It's a very uncomfortable bed. Perhaps a child would not find it as uncomfortable, however. Our stateroom host did find some foam sheets to put down on the bed, which helped a little, but still wasn't great. The two twin beds were very comfortable, however. All functions of the room and decor of the room were fine. One evening there was some condensation from the air conditioning unit dripping down from the ceiling (this is located right by the closet). That didnt last long, and they did follow-up the following day to make sure there were no more problems. They said that this can be a common issue if you leave your verandah or stateroom door open. This was not applicable to us, so I dont know why it happened, but being it didnt drip more than an hour or make a soggy carpet, we had no more worries. Although this is not unique to this cabin, I have to say that the split bathroom made three women getting ready very easy. Between the two bathrooms and the mirror above the desk, we each had a place to get ready. This was great! The staterooms location is very quiet and IMO easy to navigate from. If you can do stairs, using the "secret" staircase to/from Deck 9 (Topsiders and the drink station) is very convenient. The aft elevators didn't seem to be overly used, unlike midship. I also found that if we were heading to a forward location, depending on the time of day, we would take the aft elevators or walk the halls of Deck 7 until we got to Fwd and take the forward elevators from there. For example, if it's a high volume time of day when Shutters would be busy, it was easier to walk through the halls on Deck 7 to Fwd to avoid walking over and around people in the high traffic public areas. Having outside Secret Deck 7 so close was wonderful to see sunrises/sunsets. I even went out there in my jammies one morning! There was a small Yoga class going on one morning, but we didnt mind one another. Secret Deck 7 is also great to get pictures and video as you pull away from a port. I was skeptical of just how much viewing room you would have from the navigator porthole on the verandah, but two could look out and over the porthole very comfortably and all three of us could stand on the verandah and look out, although that was a little crowded. The circle porthole indeed had a larger viewing area than I anticipated, especially when you look at it in pictures in comparison to the Wonders oval porthole. Since we were on a Castaway Cay Double Dip, the ship pulled in one day and backed in the other day. I understand that typically the ship will back-in to CC's dock, so being this cabin is on the Port side, the view of CC will be that of the dock and Post Office, not the crescent of the island's family beach. The good news is that you DO NOT want to miss the view as you pull away from the CC. Take your camera and/or video camera out on the verandah. There's a very nice surprise that happens on every cruise! I hope you will enjoy this stateroom as well!

Notes: Great location, slight banging noise from outside at night. Couldn't figure out where it was coming from We loved the Navigator's verandah. It was nice to sit outside and not worry about wind or elements. Easy access to upper decks via stairs or elevator.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 7122 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 7 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/08/05

Notes: Usually do a 6 but this was an inexpensive upgrade. Loved the fact it was enclosed. Was able to sit out after shower and enjoy the sun without losing privacy. Closet door was a problem.Seemed to be stopper in the track and the right hand door traveled. Stuck a washcloth in the middle and stopped the problem. No noise at all, right by aft elevator and accessible to all restaurants and beverage station.Same roominess as 6.
