Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7504 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 9D | Location: Aft |

Notes: The location of this room was perfect. The 7th floor of the Disney Wonder has staterooms above and below - so the staterooms are extremely quiet. This is one of the rooms on the 7th floor with no balcony, but it has a lovely large porthole window that has a beautiful view!
The room itself was very clean and in good condition. My only complaint about this room would be the bed. The queen bed was extremely uncomfortable! My husband and I both ended up with sore backs and were always stiff after we woke up. I feel as though it was an old bed that needed replacing. The kids bunk beds were good and they had no complaints.
All in all - the ship was great and we loved the location and absolute silence of this room!! :) I would stay in it again (but ask if the bed had been changed!).
PS - bring your own blow drier if you have long hair. The blow driers provided are very very slow at drying hair! |

Notes: Bed was horrible, they came and brought a board and egg crate to fix the giant lump in the middle. We had the connecting room for our kids but both adults could not sleep in this room it was so uncomfortable. We did like the location, near bars, theatre, elevator always available. Everything else in the room was fine, but an aching night of sleep does not make a good vacation. |
Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 7504 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 9D | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 12/23/12 | ||
Notes: This room is GREAT for those who want to "spread out" and not pay the $$ for it. We had 3 adults in this room. It had enough space to fit 4 people (regular bed, couch and pull from the ceiling bed). It does have the split bath and a storage trunk too. Location is great to get to the adult areas & spa. Not great for getting to the restaurants or cabanas because it's a LONG walk. The view was hard to see from the porthole because you have to duck into it to see out of it because of the angle. This room doesn't have a lot of traffic by it. BUT it is not at all quiet all night long. You hear bangs from above, below and the stateroom hosts station across the hall and down 1 room. If the seas are a little rough you will hear the waves banging on the hull (Banging not splashing)winds were 12-20 knots a few nights. Would I stay in this room again? YES in a heartbeat. I am a medium sleeper with sound and though I was woken up a few times I still LOVE the space and the feel of this unique room. |
Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 7504 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 9D | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 06/23/12 | ||
Notes: Given the Fantasy is brand new, the room was in great condition!
Pros: HUGE room
Lots of space
Quiet in the hallways
Cons: I did hear the bow thrusters when arriving and departing at port
Slanted window did not allow for a great view
Not close to anything
When the kids walked it seemed like the floor was hollow
Felt the boat rocking
While there seem to be many cons, the size of the room could outweigh them all. Being a family of 4, with 2 rambunctious boys, the extra space was wonderful. The boys were able to actually play on the floor.
If you are looking for extra space, this is it! |

Notes: 7504 is wedge shaped stateroom with slanted walls across the front and is huge with a porthole that looks out over the bow of the ship. Being all the way forward there is very little hallway noise and we had no noise from Vibe. There is a pole between the bed and trunk that was never in the way and the slanted walls were never a problem. The only negative is that you can't sit on the couch and watch TV. A bonus is there is an extra chair in the room and there would be plenty of space for a pack n play. |

Notes: This room was huge. I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the slanted walls, but it added character to the room. There was plenty of room for all of our things and a lot of extra space. The porthole is slanted like the walls so was a little difficult for our children to see out without a little help from us. Very quite and not much traffic at all. Got to see someone cleaning the bell on the front of the ship. Our kids thought that was pretty cool. |

Notes: This room was PERFECT! No noise was heard at all. This includes any creaking, or even noise from outside in the hall. It was practically silent. The view from the large port hole is beautiful! The room was always clean and tidy. We slept 5 in this room, (although it technically only sleeps 4) rather comfortably. We had 2 adults, 2 teenage boys and 1 8-year old little girl. The addition of the upper berth is great and roomy enough for a child. The lower fold-out couch was a little tight for two teenage boys, one of which is 5' 7" tall. But remember, we DID have one extra person. In normal 4 person configuration, put the shortest person on the bunk first. This room is very convenient to the forward elevators, WHEn we remembered to use those! LOL! I highly recommend this room for a family of 4 **OR** 5! |

Notes: Room was great! Very clean, and we loved being so close to the spa and the adult pool. We also liked that it adjoined to room 7506..since we have a big family. We would stay here again! |
