Notes: We stayed in 7510 on our Alaska cruise. We loved having the large porthole to view the scenery. It was quiet. The 7th deck is convenient to go up to 9 and down to 3 & 4. We mostly used the stairs, but the forward elevators were always available and not as busy as the midship elevators. We only had two people in the cabin so there was plenty of room and storage. The couch was pretty worn looking, but other then that, the room was nice and convenient. |

Notes: My wife felt it was a little noisy with engine sounds and hearing waves hit the boat, being so near the front. I didn't find it to be too distracting. We like to take the steps and I found deck 7 to be an easy walk both up to 11 and down to 3 and 4...nice mid-level placement. Had no issues at all - we loved the big porthole and the window seat! |

Notes: We chose the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom because we have two very active kids (3 and 5) and didn't want to worry about a verandah but still wanted a good view. This room provided the best of both worlds! We had a huge porthole with a small bench. We were located in the forward, starboard side (front, right for the landlubbers), which allowed us to see Galveston when we left, Castaway Cay, and Key West when we pulled into port.
Living Area:
The room was very comfortable and the sofa was large enough that all 4 of us could sit on it comfortably. We had a queen size bed, the twin pullout couch and a drop down twin bunk. My 5 year old did just fine on the high bunk with the siderail and ladder.
Bathroom:
The bathroom was very convenient, having the shower/sink separate from the toilet/2nd sink. Our shower was actually a small bathtub which was the perfect size to wash off the kids at the end of a day at port! The handheld shower was also a big bonus to rinse off kids, swimsuits, sand. Then we had a retractable clothesline to hang it all up. Shelf space in the bathroom is sparse, but get a decent hanging bathroom bag (got mine at LL Bean) and you're good to go.
Location:
quiet area of the ship. Had no issues at all with noise the entire trip. We had rough seas, so the entire ship pitched and rocked. My only issue with our location was that it was on the opposite end of the ship from the drink and coffee machines, but the elevators were close by and the walk was a couple minutes, tops.
I would highly recommend this stateroom and would pick it again if I had the chance! |

Notes: We upgraded at port to this stateroom, as we had enjoyed our previous cruise in 7514. We found 7510 to be just as quiet and conveniently located. However, the room showed its age a little more than 7514, most noticably on the bathroom door, which had multiple rust spots. The couch seemed a tad saggy to me, too.
Very convenient to forward elevators. Easy access to adult areas, but not at all too long of a walk to the aft sections fo the ship either.
Space and storage (including a single wide steamer trunk) was great for two adults and two little kids.
One day, I stepped into the toilet side of the bathroom to discover an inch or so of water covering the floor. It wasn't toilet water, so I think the floor drain may have backed up. I called maintenance and housekeeping, but no one ever came to resolve the situation. It only happened that once, and it was towards the end of the cruise. My husband just soaked up the water with towels.
Overall, the bathroom had a noticeable musty/moldy smell, though it was not overpowering.
The last afternoon of the cruise, we had some bigger waves, and I definitely felt better midship and on lower decks. However, we all still were able to go to sleep just fine in the stateroom.
Mattress was in very good condition. (better than 7514) LOVE the soft sheets!
One pet peeve: the framed picture above the steamer trunk was hung crookedly, and it was tacked down so I couldn't straighten it!
Everything else in the room worked just fine.
I would stay in this same room again, though if I had the choice, I'd stay a few doors down in 7514. |

Notes: Room was extremely quiet - no unwanted noise anywhere. Loved the location - close to adult pool and spa, Beat Street and WDT. Room is in a very good shape - with some minor dinks and dents that keeps it from being a "5" for me -- but, nothing that would prevent me from selecting this stateroom again. |

Notes: We really liked this room. Fabulous! Extra large porthole window with bench. Stateroom has a murphy bed and couch convertible - though there's no ceiling pull down bed.
The round tub/shower was great, especially the overhead rain shower head. Location is convenient to adult areas and Cove Cafe on deck 11, only 4 floors up (we like to take the stairs).
You can still hear engine sounds/vibrations when backing in to port, but no other noises from above or below, or from rooms on either side. Not much foot traffic and no room across the hall as that is the back of the laundry room on the port side of the ship (also very convenient).
And if you are lucky enough to get Marissa as a room host(ess), she is awesome! |

Notes: Room was fine. Everything worked properly. Only noise was from our neighbors up above....I think they were doing jumping jacks or jumping on the bed all night! Saw CC from our window on the 2nd day when we backed in. |

Notes: Great room, a little rocky some nights, but I think that may have been the whole ship. Close to elevators, but on opposite side of the drink station. Didn't notice any noise except creaking in the walls on rocky nights. Plenty of room for 4 and plenty of storage space. |
