Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7524 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 5B | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 03/08/19 | ||
Notes: Great location with easy access to everything using stairs or elevators. Very Quiet. Two negatives : bed on side nearest to entrance was sloping/caving in somewhat to the side. Had to sleep more towards the centre to avoid this. Mattress near the end of its lifespan and would need to be replaced. Also, the railing glass was dirty making it difficult to see through. Tried wiping it down but this did not improve it much. Would of required pressure wash or strong cleaner. In retrospec, i should of brought this up with our stateroom attendant but was too busy enjoying the cruise. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7524 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 5B | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 10/13/17 | ||
Notes: Overall Condition is "Above Average" but the Air Conditioning did not keep up for this San Diego / Baja cruise.
On embarkation, we reported a problem with the verandah door latch which was quickly repaired the first evening. We also reported the A/C but were informed it would "catch up" once we were underway.
The room was generally warmer than the hallway and often uncomfortable. On the second night we finally achieved a perfect sleeping temperature but woke a few hours later overheated. We overheard others on the ship complaining about A/C problems and assumed it might have been a wide-reaching problem affecting multiple cabins.
The ship had work being done while in port on deck 9. We could hear the drills and other power tools throughout the day while inside the cabin with the verandah door closed. We did not hear any passenger noises through the walls.
The room was quite clean throughout: bathroom, shower, furnishings, carpet, glass, etc. |
Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 7524 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 5C | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 04/04/15 | ||
Notes: We love this area of the ship. Forward and starboard. Great view of beach at Castawy Cay. Any room would be great in this corridor. Very quiet. No notable noise as far as ship can help it. Just noise from parents who let their children run and scream down the halls. This can happen any where on the ship. Adult areas are just an elevator ride up. Only negative is that is quite a hike to Palo/Remy which is all the way aft. LOL We have stayed in this corridor on the Fantasy 4 times (cruise #17, 18, 19 & 20 in 12/5/15. |
Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7524 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 5B | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 02/15/13 | ||
Notes: Our cruise was out of Galveston, Texas, with stops in Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral, and Key West. 7524 was a great location. No noise from above, below, or surrounding rooms. Convenient to forward and mid-ship elevators, but central location on deck 7 also made the stairs a good option. Great view of the beach when docked at Castaway Cay. We had 2 adults and 2 children in our stateroom and we had more than enough space. |
Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7524 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 5 | Location: Forward |

Notes: This was a great stateroom! Being on deck seven is the best, close to everything. You never felt like you had to take the elevator! Being upfront is not a problem, unless you have problems in walking. It a very nice cabin, it sleeps 4 easily! |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7524 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 5 | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 10/09/05 | ||
Notes: Everything was great. Close to front elevators, no rooms across the hall. Boat station "C". Last room in cluster of 5 so it has a solid steel wall on the right side of the veranda. Would ask for this room again! |
