Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7574 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5C Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/13/14

Notes: We had room 7574 and the connecting room 7576 on the Dream in February 2014. 7574 sleeps 3 people and 7576 sleeps 4. Pros: Great ship location (right in the middle; easy walk down to theatre, easy walk up to pool); fantastic view of fireworks without leaving room; great view of Castaway Cay when docked, very little ship motion. Cons: Slightly noisy due to proximity to stairs (not too bad--I am a very light sleeper and I was fine with a white noise machine), somewhat noisy in port due to ship maintenance/loading docks(but this is true of any balcony room); more cramped configuration than the deluxe interior rooms. Overall we liked the rooms and would definitely stay in them again. Funnily enough the children preferred the interior stateroom we had last time due to the magic porthole window, but as adults, we liked the balcony better. Getting connecting rooms is a Godsend with little ones who need to nap. 7574 and 7576 were equally good--can't go wrong with either (except that 7576 sleeps one more person). Please see my YouTube video of 7574 located at http://youtu.be/kX60voWz2dc.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 7574 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5C Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 06/15/13

Notes: We had 7574 and 7576 connecting. Loved having both connecting doors and a connecting verandah. Room location was extremely convenient to mid-ship elevators. Only noise was kids running in the halls, but you can get that with any room. Would choose this room again. 7576 had an upper bunk and 7574 did not. Was also very close to forward elevators, but aft elevators were quite a walk. Mid-ship elevators could be busy around dinner time. With this room, you look right into the terminal building on embarkation/debarkaton days. Great views pulling into/out of Castaway Cay! Looking down, you see the big yellow lifeboats. This was only an issue when standing at the railing and looking straight down. Overall, a very quiet and convenient room.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 7574 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5C Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/11/13

Notes: Room in great condition (as was to be expected on a less than 1 year old ship). Queen size bed and pullout couch-no dropdown bunk in this cabin. Conventional bathtub-a plus with a child that still takes baths. We knew that this room would be pretty close to the elevators and stairwells, but did not realize that it would be the FIRST door inside the hallway. There is no way to discern this from any deck plans we could find. This location turned out to have NO negatives for us, however. We heard no additional noise from the stair landing or elevators AT ALL. It was an easy 2 deck walk down to the Oceaneer's club and the top of the atrium, and not a bad walk up to deck 11 where the daytime action is. The door adjacent to the deck 11 midship elevators puts you right at Flo's, the ice cream station, and very close to the soda dispensers. Starboard side is the place to be for Castaway Cay views, too. We would book this room again without hesitation.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7574 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5C Location: Mid

Notes: Stateroom 7574 was wonderful. We had made our reservation under the guaranteed Verandah Stateroom category. We were assigned stateroom 7574 2 weeks prior to sailing. When we saw it was right next to the midships elevators we were a little concerned about the noise, but those concerns proved to be unwarranted. From the inside of our stateroom we never knew the elevators were there. The location proved to be very convenient accessing other areas of the ship and the views from the verandah were great. Everything in the stateroom functioned as intended.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 7574 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/20/11

Notes: The room itself was very quiet and lovely. Lots of space for 4 and lots of storage space. The verandah was nice although we found we rarely went on it. The laundry room is just down the hall, if you need it, with the washers and dryers taking less time than the ones on deck 6 we were told. Being almost in the middle, it's a little walk to the elevators and stairs in both directions. The only downside was that the halls in this area can get pretty congested and noisy.

Notes: This room is perfect! I will book it again! It is at the entrance to the midship stair/elevator area. I think this could be one of the most convenient rooms on the ship. Pretty much equal distance up or down which made taking the stairs a nonissue. We couldn't hear any noise from the stair/elevator traffic, nor from the connecting door to the next stateroom. Didn't even know there were children in there until I saw them on the verandah. Plenty of storage for us 2 extreme over packers, but only will sleep 3. No pull down bunk. Amazing views of Castaway Cay and Nassau (once the other cruise ship leaves). Perfect sunrise views! Great room!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 7574 Condition: 4
Deck: 7 Category: 5 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 08/17/08

Notes: Great room with an terrific midship and deck 7 location. Pirate Night fireworks are visable from the verandah. Laundry room is down the hall, close enough for convenience but not close enough to be affected by the noise. Roomy enough and plenty of closet and storage space for our family of 4 on the 15 night repo. Easy room number to remember. We would definately book this room again.
