Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 7622 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 4C | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 12/31/16 | ||
Notes: This is an "aft" room on the Starboard side, but it could have easily been classified as midship. Halfway b/n the mid and aft elevators on the fireworks side (though we always watched them up on 11 anyway with everyone else).
Standard verandah with removable doors if you were wondering.
All 4 beds were comfortable. Room was very clean and quiet (if verandah door locked). Rocking was midship-like rather than aft-like. Bumpy weather first 3 days of 7, then better. Location was terrific imo: stair descent distance to decks 5 (kids club) and deck 4 (theaters access), and even deck 3. Likewise no worries going down 4 decks from 11. Access to aft elevators sometimes good to avoid crowds but option to both aft and equidistant mid elevators gave lots of options. Would certainly stay here again. |
Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7622 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 7A | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 12/18/13 | ||
Notes: We were in this cabin on the Magic for 9 nights on a back-to-back 12/18 & 22/2013. Being just about 2 months after extensive drydock, the living portion of the stateroom is essentially new. The carpet, sofa and table, bed and nightstands are all brand new. All the soft goods (super soft towels, linens, crisp white comforter, foot dust cover, and curtains) are brand new. Even the steamer trunk was replaced with a brand new dresser. The bathrooms, however, have not been upgraded, though they were clean and still provide a good experience. We really enjoyed this Navigators verandah because it has built-in loveseat seating as well as a table and chair, and we could watch the Pirate Night fireworks from this private space, thereby avoiding the crowds up on deck. We experienced no noise from neighboring cabins and there was minimal hallway noise. The stateroom does creak at night when sailing, though, and did wake us up two nights during rough weather (50mph winds and 12ft waves). Its just up 2 decks to Cabanas for breakfast and lunch, and down 3 decks to Animators or 4 decks to Cariocas for dinner. Also, the aft elevators and stairs are much less used than those at midship. Nonetheless, this classic ship is still just 984 ft with the new ducktail, so even walking forward to other venues is quick. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7622 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 7A | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 07/26/09 | ||
Notes: The room was absolutely everything we imagined and maybe a little more. Since this was our first Disney cruise we were unsure of what to expect. The room was very spacious with plenty of storage spaces. One of the great things about this room was the privacy of the Navigator's Verandah at all times. This type of balcony gives a more private, intimate feeling on a cruise. |
Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7622 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 7 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 04/25/09 | ||
Notes: This was quiet room away from the elevators but near the "secret" deck on 7. The Aft Elevators took us right up to Deck 9 in front of Topsiders and down to Deck 3 right in front of Parrot Cay. The view was of St. Thomas (the docks0 and of the Black Pearl in Castaway Cay. This room says it sleeps 3 but 2 adults fit comfortable so I am not sure how it can fit 3. I would stay in this room again.

Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7622 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 7 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 05/27/06 | ||
Notes: This is our favorite location and this room didn't let us down. The only negative was the cushions out on the verandah seemed to be a little dirty and needed replacing. The room itself was in great shape and we had a very good stateroom host. Plenty of room for all our stuff. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7622 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 7 | Category: 7 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 02/16/06 | ||
Notes: There were no problems with noise in this room. It's a great location being about halfway between the elevators and the "secret" deck 7 aft deck. Being in the aft portion of the ship, it is very convient to resturants (Parrot Cay, Animator's Palete, and Beach Blanket Buffet) and is only two decks below the drink station. This particular room has views of the terminal at Port Canaveral and the main area at Castaway Cay. However, in Nassau, it does not face the main shopping district but does give a good vantage point for taking pictures of Atlantis. For two people, there seemed to be plenty of room. |
