Notes: This was my first cruise so I don't have much to compare it to but this room was perfect us. It's small but we were on a 3 night cruise so we barely spent anytime in the room anyway. There were only 2 of us so we had enough room but for more people, I'd recommend considering a bigger room. We loved the magical porthole. That is something I'm going to miss when I go on the The Magic for my next cruise... As for location, Deck 7 is perfect. You never need to go too far up or too far down to get any rare so we rarely waited for the lifts. We wouldn't recommend staying in aft though as it is a surprisingly long walk to and from the theatre. |

Notes: Nice size. Sleeps a family of four comfortably with the pull down bunk. Felt very little vibration when docking and close to the elevators. Would stay in this room again. |

Deck: 7 | Category: 11B | Location: Mid |
Sail Date: 04/14/11 | ||
Notes: Quiet connecting room, never heard anything at all from neighbors. Sleeps 4, has a drop down bunk. Did a back to back cruise, was previously midship(8063) In that room, we felt NO movement... but this aft room, we did feel movement and alot of shaking especially when docking. Not too far from aft elevators which are very fast and not too busy, but clearly not as good as our midship room. If there were no midship rooms, I would be ok staying here again... but if a midship room were avaiable, I would jump on it first... thus I gave this room a 4 rather than a 5. Set up is bathroom first, then living space, then bed on far wall, which feels more open then the bath, bed, living space set up. Loved the magic porthole!!!! |
