Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 7678 Condition: 2
Deck: 7 Category: 8C Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/16/17

Notes: Too much engine vibration. The seating for the large porthole is only big enough for small children. Engine fuel fumes pouring into cabin caused us to evacuate our cabin early one morning, after docking at Castaway Cay. The cabin is roomy. Being near the aft elevators, you are only a short walk or elevator ride to food options. We never noticed any problem with hallway noise.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7678 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 8A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/18/13

Notes: Disclaimer: This was my first DCL (and only 2nd cruise ever). Thought it was in great condition, no complaints there. I did hate being so far Aft because it seems like we were always coming from front or mid and had to walk a mile to get to our room. My main complaint was the engine vibrations were SO BAD the first night, I did not sleep a wink. I even took about 5 sleep aids (Simply Sleep) throughout the night and *still* coulnd't sleep with the vibrations. The 2nd night was fine, probably because we didnt' sail much (if at all) overnight since we were just going from Nassau to CC. The 3rd (and final) night, I did feel it a bit but nothing like the first night. If this was a longer cruise I might have asked to change staterooms that first night, it was so bad. But for only 2 more nights I didn't feel like packing everything up again and moving. In the future I will try mid or forward cabins and hopefully won't have this problem again.

Notes: Amazing room. Never heard any noise, and never felt much movement. Wife noticed one night, but the seas were pretty rough I heard. The overhead rain shower was very nice with the round tub.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7678 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 8C Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/29/12

Notes: Our first cruise, had a great time. This category room is very spacious, love the round tub in the split bath. Queen bed is SO comfy, seemed extra-wide. Sleeps 4 max -- no murphy bed, only the sofa bed and the drop-down bunk. The room is farther back than the aft elevators/stairs, but very close to them. We mostly took the stairs... not too far up to Cabanas, not too far down to access atrium/theaters/clubs/MDRs. We didn't have any particular issues with noise or vibration. We did have A LOT of rocking due to rough weather with high winds on the first night and next a.m., but otherwise really didn't notice any motion (either in the room or elsewhere on the ship). The starboard location gives fantastic views of Castaway Cay!
