Notes: Room was very quiet. It was a walk to get to but that's what we loved about it. Close to forward stairs so easy to access any deck. Would happily stay in this room / area again. Huge porthole window, round tub, split bath, and plenty of storage. More than enough room for the two of us (me and my husband). Stateroom host was very kind as well. Does not face Castaway Cay. |

Has the master bed plus 3 other beds for kids. the couch the one above the couch and the murphybed that folds down by the porthole. |

Notes: Great room! It has both the bunk and murphy bed and the round tub/shower. Room was quiet, can hear thrusters when docking at Castaway but not a bother since need to be getting up by then!! I would get room in this area again. |

Notes: This was a great stateroom. It is forward, very close to the forward elevators. It is right next to a large suite. It was not noisy at all - very quiet - never heard a single outside sound while in the room. Its on the port (left) side of the ship, which offers good views coming into both the Nassau and Castaway Cay ports. The veranda is close to the port bridge wing. When the ship comes into port you can see the officers steering the ship. The room was kept very well. Our stateroom attendant was named Conrad and he did an excellent job of making up the room. Always had the room in good shape when we came back and made some very elaborate towel sculptures. We stayed in the room with our 2 girls (8 and 6). They loved the fold down bunk bed which comes out of the ceiling. They both ended up sleeping on the top bunk a couple of nights. Plenty of room for clothes etc. You won't spend much time in the room, but its very nice for the time you do. |

Notes: Out of our 6 Disney Cruises, this was by far the best stateroom we've had. We've also been in Cat. 5,6, and 11 staterooms in previous cruises - all of which were very clean and quite comfortable. Our son is 6'4" and was relatively comfortable on the fold down sofa bed - although the first night we had the murphy bed pulled down for him. The problem with the murphy bed is that the bed obstructs access to the verandah. So if you're not planning to go on the verandah after dark, then this isn't a problem. However, we enjoy sitting on the verandah once dressed for the night to just enjoy the view and have some quiet time. Both the murphy bed and the sofa bed are the same length and equal in comfort. There is also a pulldown bed above the sofa if there's a 5th person in the room. There were just 3 of us so this size room was perfect for us. Since it was forward and on deck 8, there was no noise at all with the exception of there being some 'sliding' noises noticed only on the verandah. (The noises came from deck 9 - moving of chairs, etc.) These noises were not noticed inside the room. I'd taken a Bonine for the first night, but never took another one as I didn't need it. I think I only noticed the ship slightly rocking one time and that was it. I had to look carefully to see whether or not we were going anywhere. There was ample storage for our clothing, laptop setup, and suit case storage. The 'steamer trunk' has 3 shelves - no drawers inside and held quite a bit along with the other cabinets, drawers, and closet space. We purchased the 250 hour internet package and used up all of our minutes (carefully) without going over! On occasion, access was slow, but it was when most folks were getting into their rooms for the night and probably checking emails. There are no verandah rooms directly under you so there's no smoke to invade our verandah like we experienced in previous verandah rooms. Anything 8000-8014 (or 8500-8514) will keep you from being over another verandah.
Our hostess, Debbie, was inobtrusive, always available, kept us clean and stocked with ice all day. She was superb! There are no rooms across the hall so the hallways are quiet and you're just around the corner from the forward elevators - a quick ride away from the theater/shopping areas or adult pool. This room couldn't have been more perfect for us! |

Notes: This cabin was quiet and delightful. We were afraid of it being so forward that we would experience motion problems but we didn't feel any motion at all!(we did take Bonine though,so that might have helped). There were four adults in the room and we had plenty of room. The bathroom though proved to be a challenge. After a couple of tough times getting used to such small facilities we managed to work out a plan that was sufficient. The only thing wrong with the room was the shower floor leaked onto the tile floor. We reported it and they said that they had to work on it between cruises. I felt sorry for the room steward because it made his job harder. The room steward was wonderful! Our room was spotless and supplied nicely. We had requested feather pillows but didn't get them the first day. We just let the request go and didn't worry about it. On day two the steward apologized about forgetting the request and promptly got our feather pillows. The room was convenient to decks 9 and 10 and very close to the spa area. I would get this room again if I cruise. |

Notes: Great room, nice and quiet. Not convenient to aft elevators obviously but we still preferred it because it's under the spa so not much noise. In fact the only noise we heard was on the last day, folks got a little noisy in the hallway throughout the last day for some reason. Everything was in good condition, the bed mattress was ok. The bathroom was not sparkling new perfect clean, but it was pretty good (I'm very picky). The rest of the room was very clean. |

Notes: We had little to no noise in this room. It was an easy walk to all activities on deck 9 and the elevators also.
The best part was the view from the verandah each day when coming into port. It was EXCEPTIONAL to say the least! You are on the side of the lighthouse in Nassau, and on the dock side of CC (when ship was backed in) which made it great to watch the captain (in the little side wing) steering into port, and the crew at CC pulling in the ropes.
My daugher (4 at the time), myself, and my parents all sailed in this room and we were never tripping over each other. There was plenty of room and DD LOVED the pull down ceiling bed. We would take this cabin again ANYTIME it was open! |
