Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 07/22/19

Notes: Spacious cabin, murphy bed in 1bdrm, not ideal with teens, we had table & chairs moved into bedroom area, added a cot in living area, still plenty of room. Nice location between mid & front elevators. Plenty of closet space, draws, and storage. Wonder has the most beautiful concierge lounge on deck 10, not as convenient as bigger ships where cabins surround the lounge. Could hear the connecting cabin, they could probably hear us too. Noise from deck above is extremely loud, every morning lounge chairs being moved, dragged. If you are a light sleeper, or don't wake up early, this will be your wake up call. The last night they started cleaning the pool deck around 11:15pm dragging chairs, spraying water, sounded like a power washer. Called guest services, noise continued, never heard back from them. Then after midnight went up to deck 9, pool area and this is exactly what they were doing, continued to after 1am. Not a good way to end a cruise. Mentioned to concierge host the next morning before leaving the ship. Never a follow up from DCL, not the customer service expected when in concierge and paying $$$$$. Would have to really want a specific itinerary, and concierge to be a "must have" to stay in this cabin again.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 7A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/30/19

Notes: This was an excellent room and location for a few dollars less than all other verandahs, balcony was slightly obstructed but the obstruction also allowed some shade and shelter from the wind. Here is a video. https://youtu.be/hrCVO-EtonY

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 03/13/16

Notes: Was warned in other reviews of noise of deck chairs above at night. Didn't really notice until last night. Around 1am equipment and chair dragging noise on deck above. Also need to ask room host to check magnet charge on pocket doors, coming into home port last morning, 5am, pocket doors slammed open and closed. What a wake up call. otherwise room was excellent

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 7A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/21/13

Notes: Nice room on Deck 8, forwards of the fwd elevators, left side of the ship. The room was clean, neat, and didn't have any maintenance issues at all. The view is partially obstructed but I liked that I only had one person next to us. Being the "start" of the veranda made it easy to pick out our room and friends taking our picture. No real noise heard from the engines, theatre, etc. The only thing we really heard was the foot traffic (occasional kids running up a down the hallway, but hey, we were all kids at one time!). If you are looking for a full view veranda the 7A category is not for you, I would estimate it was about 30% obstructed.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/25/13

Notes: This cabin was perfect for a family of four. The living area is equipped with a fold out couch that turns into a comfy double, which the girls (twins aged 10) shared with little trouble, even with one girl quite tall for her age (5'4"). They slept like logs. there are 2 other chairs that are in the living room area which move out of the way quite well when steward pulls out bed for making during turn down. There is a table for 4 that comfortably accommodates room service full breakfast (Cat. T). Plenty of closet space, drawers and bath off entry way for the girls to share (single sink, shower only and toilet). Wet bar in dining area with fridge, sink and plenty of counter space. Bedroom separates from Living space by double slider doors that do rock quite significantly and bang loudly during rough seas, a real drag at night, but solved easily by wedging a sturdy flip flop or swim fin (we are divers) beneath each after closing doors for night. Tub and shower in main bath, with a closet (safe available) and a makeup table/desk area with plenty of space. Hair dryer. double sinks in bath. Sitting area in bedroom with pull down single murphy bed which we did not use (kept kids in living room). Sliders in both areas out to double wide, but slightly narrow verandah. Minimal noise except on final night arriving back to Miami. A few deck chair noises were not bothersome. The Concierge experience was fantastic. One of two total personal concierges avails him/herself to you (and the 22 other suite cabins on ship...generally around 100 people...11 cabins/ concierge) for all the perks that come with this CAT T. Twice daily visits to help with needs/concerns, delivery of any movies to suite at any time with popcorn! (kids loved this), daily surprises including fresh fruits, desserts, canapes, pirate loot, lithograph compliments of the Cruise line. Jonathan was our concierge and was WONDERFUL. He even got us in at the end of our trip to some empty AFT cabins to check those larger areas out in preparation for booking our 12 day Europe cruise! So nice to see what you might be getting for a pretty hefty pricetag but well worth every dime. He got us reservations at Palo, in spite of it being booked up completely...don't miss this experience. Cabin does show signs of wear/tear but not obnoxious. Furniture upholstery needs cleaning (couch is well used). Overall, would book this cabin again!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 3
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/09/11

Notes: Lots of noise from deck 8 - chairs being dragged, carts rolling along, people walking (could really hear people with hard-soled shoes). Both AC units dripped water throughout cruise. Pocket door between living / bedroom area was way too loose. Room steward finally put a doorstop in to stop it from rolling back and forth with the ship's movement.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 10/13/07

Notes: This room was excellent! We did hear noise in the middle of the night which sounded like chairs being moved around. Other than that, it was perfect. We have 5 in our family, and I can't imagine doing any other room. Plenty of room for all of us. There was also plenty of storage. There was a regular hair dryer (plugged in) in a drawer in the vanity area. Service was impecible!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/10/05

Notes: AWESOME! This room was great...double wide balcony - garden tub. Perfect for parents of the pack and play age...the pnp fit in the master room and our other DD could sleep in the main room. It had a murphy bed in the master bedroom so not sure how that would be if your children were older. Concierge team was great. Room was in excellent condition. Not much noise, every now and then you might here something but for the most part it was relatively quiet. Close to elevators and most everything! Highly recommend!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8022 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/18/05

Notes: We were a family of 5 and the layout and location of this suite was perfect. Youngest DD would nap in the master bedroom while the rest of us had full access to the rest of the suite. Also older kids could watch one movie at night while youngest watched "G" movie. Heard no noise even when on the verandah. Very convenient to both the forward and mid elevators/stairs. DH really liked watching the docking process from the verandah. We could watch the ropes being secured and the captain on his "docking" deck.
