Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 8034 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 8 | Category: 5B | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 02/02/19 | ||
Notes: Very convenient to the forward elevators. It's the mid-side of forward and 2 floors below Senses Spa and the Adult Deck area and 4 floors above the Walt Disney theatre and shops. You cannot hear anything, including horns, from this room. Room is on Port side. Verandah is not extended or oversized. Fantastic location. |

Notes: Very convenient to deck 9 activities and eateries. There was no hallway noise(even though the mid-ship elevators and stairs were located outside the door to this suite).There was however noise from deck 9- (chairs scraping and muffled music from deck parties)nothing that would stop me from reserving this room again. The room attendant kept this room immaculate but there are minor wear and tear issues- (broken bathroom tiles/balcony rusting).Very spacious-our family of 4(with two teenage boys) never felt cramped in this suite. |

Notes: Room and verandah are unbelievably excellent. However, you will hear noise from above at all hours of the day and night. You will hear anyone running or anyone walking with heels on or chairs being moved/scaped across the floor. It can be annoying when watching tv. |

Notes: We loved this room. The layout was terrific. Very livable and ergonomically it makes a lot of sense. Lots of storage - particularly in the drawers near the entrance. Loved the two bathrooms.
I really liked the dressing table between the closet and the bathroom - very good for putting on make-up and keeping your girly stuff together. The closet was huge! The bathroom layout was great and the jacuzzi was a decent size.
Found the room creaky with good swells. Got used to the noise of the wood popping against itself. Heard some noise from the deck above - mostly chair scraping in the morning. Found the room a little cold even with the help of Engineering.
Would book again in a heartbeat. |

Notes: Let me start by saying what a wonderful time we had in 8034 for our back to back cruises last month.However i must say the room is now starting to show it's age in places and is in need of some TLC IOHO,Their were 5 of us,me my wife,my 23 year old daughter and my 13 year old twins who all loved the room.Convenient to everywhere,with some great views of all the ports and the luggage space was to die for,Hmmm then we come to the noise issue,this is NOT! the cabin for light sleepers because the room has so many beautiful wood cabinets any rough seas and it sounds like your sleeping in the green zone north of Baghdad but as for over head noise we heard nothing of any note.The room size is great but just remember anything other than pond like conditions and you will hear the cabinets creaking...

Notes: We loved this cabin. Plenty of room for our family of three and wonderful privacy for Mom and Dad. The nice round table was great for doing homework and there was more closet space than we needed. Concierge was nice but to be honest it really wasn't all that necessary. Will stay here again! |

Notes: Contrary to the other 2 reviews of this room, our room was so noisy that my husband actualy spent 1 night of the cruise in another cabin. We heard so much noise about 20 hours a day from the pool above us. At night there were deck parties with the teens that were so loud, and in the morning there were people moving chairs around which was also loud. There was also a ping pong table above the room so we'd hear ping pong balls bouncing on the floor all the time. We actually went up 1 day and moved the table over a bit and it did help some, but then we just got the noise of chairs moving soon after anyway.
Aside from the constant noise, I loved the room, the verandah was great and the space in the room and layout were wonderful. Disney should really rethink the location of their 'nicest' rooms if they build another ship though because the noise is unbearable. |
