Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8086

Notes: This room is on the port side midship just off the elevators. We were very pleased with the room and location. Very little noise. It was easy to reach the upper and lower levels. This location was very stable for those with motion issues. This room has the pull down berth best suited for children. The next time I would choose the same location on the starbord side for a view of castaway key.

Notes: This room met all of our needs. We had several nights of rough seas and we appreciated the mid ship location of the room as we did not feel the movement as bad there as we did in other areas of the ship. The closets and walls did creak those nights. This room is very close to the mid ship elevators but it is not very close to the 6th floor laundry.

Notes: We loved this stateroom! It was in a convenient location right off the midship elevators. There was absolutely no vibration, and we didn't even know when we arrived in our ports of call. There was a little noise on the last night from kids running up and down the hallway, but otherwise it was quiet.

Notes: This room has a great location, close to stairs & elevators. Easy to walk up to Deck 11 for drinks or the pools. Quiet location except for occasional kids running down the hall late at night. No Murphy type bed, just a pull down berth, not a good size for an adult sized person. Also has the convertible sofa. Rounded shower with a rainhead shower head. Lots of storage. Great room steward .. Rajan!

Notes: Very convenient to mid-ship elevators but not noisy. Shower was the new round style. Sleeps four-no murphy bed.

Notes: Great suite very convenient to aft elevators/stairs and back stair to Topsiders. No noise at all from above or from the sides. We had our pick of suites on the port side and picked this one because it is aft and not connecting to other rooms. Only knock is it is across from the service elevators but it meant quick luggage delivery! And as someone else mentioned, you have to latch the doors to the bedroom to keep them from sliding open and slamming shut. We also had the jacuzzi tub turn on by itself one afternoon with no way of turning it off that we could find. Outlets were very hard to locate (in drawer as mentioned, behind TVs and by wet bar), and we were glad we brought three extension cords with us because we needed all 3 of them. Room is more crowded or cramped than the handicapped Cat 3s at the back of the ship, especially with sleep sofa deployed (and much more cramped than the Roy suite!) but fully functional and quite enjoyable.

Notes: Loved this room and its location! So convenient to drink station (coffee in the am!), Mickey Pool, Topsiders. We could just run up and down from the pool if we forgot something. Aft elevators were much less busy except on port mornings with an Aft gangway. Not much noise from any direction, except a few scoots in the morning from Topsiders above...enough to hear if you are awake, but not loud enough to wake you. The night before disembarking, I did hear the crew moving bags around since this room is right across from the crew-only storage where they keep the bags. No biggie, though!

Notes: Nice room, the master bedroom sliding doors keep slinding open and shut if you don't latch them properly, no noise to speak of. The jacuzzi tub turned on once when we were in the living room. had to put water in the tub so as not to overheat pumps. Maintainence was there quick and fix within minutes. No problems after that. Excelent location, aft is the best, easy access to Topsiders and coffee/soda fountains.

Notes: Nice quiet location - close to "secret" staircase up to Beach Blanket Buffet. Includes tv in bedroom & living room. DVD and Bose players in living room. Real hairdryer was located at desk vanity - there was a regular outlet there and on the wall in the living room. Jetted tub & separate shower in master bath. 2nd bathroom has shower only. View of dock in Nassau and Castaway Cay.

Notes: I would take an aft cabin again in a heartbeat. We heard nothing from the staterooms on either side of us, and nothing from above, except twice did I hear a chair or table being scooted (in BB Buffet)--at about 7:30 am--and the noise was one scoot, and lasted for all of a second! Our hallway was so quiet and the aft elevators were rarely busy, except on the CC day, when the gangway was aft. The room is very convenient to the drink station and the Mickey pool--one flight of stairs up and then just out the door. Beach Blanket Buffet can be reached either by going up the stairs by the elevators or up the back stairs--also very convenient. When backing into Nassau and Castaway Cay, there is a great view of the docking procedure and the activity on the docks

Notes: carpet needed some cleaning. Bed was very comfortable!

Notes: A great room. No problem with noise. Elevators not crowded.
