Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 8098 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 8 | Category: 4B | Location: Mid |
Sail Date: 03/18/19 | ||
Notes: Quiet location with little foot traffic. No noise heard from neighbors except occasionally when we were both on the verandah at the same time. Plenty of space for our family of four. I read differing reviews online about whether this room slept four or five. As of our sailing in March 2019, it slept four with a queen bed, convertible couch and top bunk. There is not a Murphy bed in this room. Super easy to go up 3 flights to cabanas or down 3 flights to kids club without having to rely on elevators. |

Notes: This was a great room for a family of 4, bigger than we expected it to be on a ship (this was our first Disney cruise). We had a 1 year old in a crib (between the sofa and window) and our 5 year old was in the bed that pulled down from the ceiling, the curtain separating the room in two was great. The sofa also converts into a bed. The room was quiet, no other rooms opposite us and no stomping from above. It is roughly in the middle between elevators/stairs so not a lot of traffic. This cabin does not connect to other cabins so it was perfect and quiet for us. The veranda is clear so you don't need to stand up to see anything. Would stay in this room again, for some reason we preferred it to 8596 (booked this room to get a view of Castaway Cay which was nice, but still prefer 8098) which was in the same location but on the other side of the ship to this room. |

Notes: It was a good location...needed to be cleaned better...verandah was nice...but also dirty plexiglass and noisy neighbors on one side...the room is very spacious though and would accomadate 4-5 guests |
