Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/17/17

Notes: We enjoyed the extra space in this stateroom (there are photos and videos easily found with an internet search). The window is not really useful if you are sitting or lying on the bed, but does allow a nice amount of daylight (and the curtains close completely to keep the light out if needed). We actually had more closet space than our friends in a deluxe verandah stateroom, which made up for having less drawer space. Plenty of storage for 2 people. Very convenient to spa/health club and theaters. A good walk to most other locations, but we didn't mind that. Our only complaint was the noise. Lots of banging at seemingly random times from above - it looks from the deck plans that this room is below the bridge, but it often sounded like some heavy things were being moved around, door slamming, etc. Didn't really bother us (I sleep with earplugs), but others might be unhappy with it. Probably wouldn't specifically book it again because there are other types of rooms we prefer, but wouldn't mind it if it were assigned to us.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 3
Deck: 8 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 02/21/15

Notes: Pro:It was not noisy. It is large. It would sleep 3, we are a couple, so did not use the sleeper sofa. Con: The porthole is really useless for seeing the ocean. It is not particularly convenient as it is just about as far away from Forward elevators as you can get. The ceiling near the porthole is attic like, at an angle, and if you are tall, there is a danger of hitting your head. We got it as OGT, so it was a good price for us. We honestly thought we should have saved $100 and gone with IGT. Still, our room steward was excellent, it was a great cruise.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 9A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/19/14

Notes: This stateroom is at the front of the ship. Room is somewhat larger than the normal CAT9 rooms, wider entry way and more spacious. It does have slanted ceiling at the front of room, however, it has little impact on comfort. It is missing the small 4 drawer dresser that is available in other staterooms. Not a problem since there is plenty of room at the front of room to lay your suitcase for quick access if the other dresser drawers are not enough. Very quiet. No noise at all from above or below. Very pleased with stateroom, Have already booked a future cruise with this room.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 4A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/19/14

Notes: This was a super quiet room! No foot traffic, which was wonderful! No noise from above either. We had a couple of plumbing issues (no hot water 4 of the mornings were were sailing). Also some wind noise from the patio door (the patio didn't latch properly) and some squeaks and creaks from inside the room. Overall, a very nice room. Lots of storage and very comfortable beds.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 02/01/14

Notes: Loved this room so much we booked it again for our next cruise. It was much more spacious than any other porthole room we had occupied. The porthole overlooks the bow of the ship. It is tilted up at a slight angle, but let's in plenty of light. You can see where the ship is headed. There are curtains covering the porthole, but no one could see inside anyway. We were pleased with how quiet it was in the room. You're located at the end of the hall so no one comes down there unless they live there. Since it is under the bridge, there is rarely any overhead noise. We liked how convenient the location was to the spa, fitness facility, and adult area. Oh and even to the Vibe (teens area).

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/29/13

Notes: Stateroom is larger than normal rooms and felt very spacious. Came with two extra chairs to sit in which was nice. Porthole is a bit small. There is no privacy curtain. There is less cabinet storage than in other rooms. I found the room to be a bit noisy due to crew areas being directly above.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 10/27/12

Notes: We loved this room straight away. It was so much wider than normal staterooms and plenty of space to move around. We were able to keep the room tidy much more easily. It was right at the front of the ship but felt very little movement despite being Hurricane Sandy week. Not far from the Forward elevators which were hardly ever full like the midship ones. We could whizz straight up to deck 13 - great. I would definately book this room again.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/30/12

Notes: This room is next-to-last at end of hallway. We didn't feel ship movement, except on a rough sea day, which is usually not true in a forward room. It was very quiet, as their was very little foot traffic. My party had rooms 8500 & 8502.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 9A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/03/11

Notes: This was a room at the very front of the ship. Very quiet. The room was wider than other rooms we saw. Plenty of space. It does have the slanted wall which wasn't too bad, only forgot and hit my head a couple of times. I would choose this room again anytime. No noise at all from Vibe. A ltlle walk to the forward elevators but not too bad.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8502 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/12/09

Notes: Sometimes we could hear them moving SPA chairs/ directly below the spa. View of Castaway Cay from balcony. Easy to get to deck 9...long walk to aft for drink station. Room was in good condition, but did show some wear. Quiet hall close to bridge and some officers quarters.

Notes: This is a deluxe family stateroom. It had lots of room and we heard no noise at all. We are a family of 4 and it was great to have the extra room.
