Notes: This is a standard inside room with no split bath room. It is not a connecting room. The room sleeps 4 people, 2 in the bed, one on the sofa bed and one on the drop down from the celling bunk bed. The room is located forward on the Starboard side and has a Starfish holder on the outside of the door. It is located on one of the side corridors which connects the port and starboard sides. It is a very quiet location, as being on the side corridor there is very little foot traffic past the door. My cruise went through The Bay of Biscay which is known for rough seas. I did feel movement during the night but I am a heavy sleeper and it did not disturb my sleep. It was a pleasant experience, feeling the rolling of the ship. I did hear noise in the early morning of our port day as the anchor was dropped, but again I just went back to sleep. I do not get sea sick so maybe that helps. The location is great for adult areas, as it is near the Forward lifts up to Cove Cafe, Adult pool area with hot tub, Senses Spa and Satellite Falls. It is also easy to get to Midship Lifts. This room has a Magic Porthole above the bed. This is the bridge view on a round TV screen. It can be turned off if you don't want the light when you sleep. If you watch for a few minutes, Disney "friends" pop by on the screen every so often. I found it handier than just on the TV like on The Magic, as it meant I could see outside and also have something on the TV at the same time. The storage space was fine for me as a solo guest but for a family there may not be enough shelf space for everyones bits and pieces. There was plenty of space under the bed to store empty luggage cases.

Notes: This room fit 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 children under 6. A little smaller than the Deluxe, but it was good enough for us. Luggage could be stored under the beds. The porthole was awesome! It might as well have been an oceanview room - you can turn it on and see an outside view. Every so often, something magical would appear! Being forward on the ship was a bit far from most of the convenient foods, but it was right above the Theater and Enchanted Garden. We slept well. Very little noise heard in our hallway. Everything was in working order. The pull down bed was helpful for our little one to sleep in - she thought it was cool. The tub/shower was fine. We had enough room to get in and out, including giving them baths/showers. We didn't go back to our room often because it was far from midship.

Notes: THis room was very comfortable for the three of us (wife, daughter and myself). Four may have felt more crammed. Very good space for luggage under the bed. We were able to fit three good sized suitcases underneath the bed - along with two backpacks and lots of shoes :) which made the room feel that much bigger to freely roam around in. Bed was very comfortable. We all slept soundly each night. Well soundproofed and no sway movement from the ship. Much nicer inside standard room than was on the Wonder we had stayed in last. Virtual Porthole was a blast! Second single bed folded down above the couch. Had a side rail so DD wouldn't fall out. She slept very well and comfortably up there. The only thing that didn't work so well in the room was the digital alarm clock. The alram wouldn't set right. Room Host got us a new one that worked better though. The bathroom was a bit small, but adequate for what we needed. Sink, corner toilet and stand up shower with two hanging clothes lines and large removable showerhead. No fan in bathroom though. We had enough space to store all of our clothes (again, for three people) in the room - emptying all of our suitcases. Overall, a very nice, quiet and cozy inside stateroom for three on Deck 8 Forward.
