Notes: While it is a great 1 br. with the Murphy Bed in the living room (better than the other 1 br with MB in the main bedroom) it was as others stated creaky with all the wood work. Great closet storage but they need more drawers and less shelves. Room was below the Edge so lots of foot traffic above with jumping. If you turn in early plan on hearing some noise till about midnight or a little later. We are up late so it didn't bother us much, but you would think they wouldn't put a tween space above a cat T room with that price tag.

Notes: Great location, tons of room, super comfortable master bed but the tons of lacquered woodwork in the room is pretty beat up and it makes almost constant squeaky noises when the ship is moving. The entire interior needs to be redone and updated and I think having a lot less woodwork would make for a much quieter room.

Notes: We loved the layout of the cabin and the master bed. Spacious. The dining table needs to be moved when the murphy bed is pulled out, otherwise you have to climb over it when exiting the master bedroom. The sofa bed is still very uncomfortable. It looks like this was not part of the upgrade for the new Magic. One would think that they could replace or fix this old thing. The cabin is still very noisy with foot traffic, but most Disney passengers are in bed late at night. The location is perfect for the midship stairs and elevator. There are too few plug sockets.Only one spare one underneath the TV in the living/dining room. The showers are a touch small. The balcony is 3 cabins wide, but narrow. Loved the light coming in, but couldn't use it for 2 days due to work being done outside. I would have given this cabin a 5 if it wasn't for the bad sofa bed and our cabin hostess who always came to clean when we were in the cabin (what happened while we were at dinner or shore excursions?)and had to be reminded on a daily basis of basic things such as to replacing the toilet paper etc.

Notes: This was our first cruise on the Magic after her extensive dry dock and we were pleasantly surprised about some things and disappointed about others. As with any of the midship rooms, the layout was perfect for us. This room was very convenient to the midship elevators and very quiet in terms of hallway noise. We had a great view of Castaway Cay when docked. There was ample storage for clothes and more. Everything was clean and in good repair (except the plumbing - see below). Best thing: The wood did not creak at all!!!! Yea!!! It was beautifully quiet in the room. Good things: The updated carpet and decor was a much needed change. This made the room seem so much fresher. One interesting change was the smaller bedside tables. This gave more floorspace but made it difficult to keep a magazine or e-reader on the nightstand. We did love the directional lighting sconces. Not so good things: The sink in the master bath kept clogging and maintenance had to make 3 visits to the room to fix this and a shower issue over a 12 day span. Also, the noise overhead was pretty bad around 10 pm every night - the noise of running back and forth could be heard quite clearly in the bedroom. The concierge checked to make sure that the teen club did not have an activity going on then, but they did not. It was just other passengers. Before you book, keep in mind that this room is under the arcade, Goofy gazebo walkway area and gets a lot of foot traffic. Other than the night hours, we really were not bothered by the overhead noise. Worst thing: The sleeper sofa was horrible - the mattress was thin and the cross bar was painfully evident when trying to sleep. It was so bad that our two girls were bickering over who was NOT going to sleep in the sofa bed. They worked around the problem by sleeping sideways in the bed. Overall, we loved this room. Would have given it a 5 had it not been for the sofa bed.

Notes: Overall, the cabin was in good condition. There was a considerable amount of mildew build-up in both showers. Also, if you are planning to use the pullout sofa - think again! The mattress was the absolute worst pullout mattress we have ever experienced. My daughter was a good sport and opted to just sleep on top of the sofa - much better than the mattress option. The murphy bed mattress was very good and the queen mattress was also good. As for noise, there was a lot of chair movement at night and in the early morning coming from the pool area above the cabin. It woke up family members every night and morning. For the reasonable price I booked the cabin for (booked a year in advance), it was worth the splurge for the extra space and concierge service(The cabin is about the size of three cabins placed together). However, if the prices increase, you may want to reconsider connecting cabins on Deck 7 as an alternative.

Notes: We liked this room a lot and only complaint was noise overhead from deck 9. Not a huge issue as we rarely sat in the room, but we did have a 5 month old who napped in there periodically so it got a little dicey with her. We were in here on a 12 night Baltic cruise and had ample storage space and room throughout the trip. Never felt cramped. We used the pull down bed a couple of times, when the kids didn't want to sleep together, and even then there was plenty of space to walk around. Pack n play fit very nicely in the master closet.

Notes: The last time we were in this room was 2006, and it did take a marked down turn since then. I had given it a 4 last time, primarily due to noise. It is still noisy, yes, but now the shower tiles are badly stained. I wish I had taken pics, but at more than $1K per night for that room, you'd think the least they could do is re-tile the showers. Also, there was a problem with the master bath door between the toilet/shower room and the sink room. I am not sure what was up with that, but I hope you don't require a lot of privacy from your cabin mates because that door may not close at all. ;) Additionally, this was the first time in a midship Cat 3 that we were truly bothered by children running the hallways. That has never been a problem for us in the past, but now we had the noise above from deck chairs/pool activity and the noise from children racing down the hallways.

Notes: This room was very noisy. Expect to hear the thud of the bass/subwoofer during sailaway, if you don't make it to sailaway on time. Also, you will hear deck chairs being moved on a regular basis. Moreover, the woodwork and molding are beautiful, but are very loud with all the banging and clanging, most especially during rough seas. Do not be afraid to contact the concierge to have them send up carpenters to caulk and put in stoppers where necessary. We heard no noise due to the room being near the elevators. We were disappointed in the narrow verandah -- there were no lounge chairs. Just 2 small tables and 2 small chairs at each table. You could not fit 4 people at one table if you wanted to have breakfast out there; it was much too narrow to do so. I usually love to lounge on a chaise lounger on the verandah with a book, but this wasn't the verandah for that. Here are some tips: the curtains do not close all the way. Bring clips to help keep them closed if you do not want to get up with first light. You will also need clips for the living room curtains as the door that separates the bedroom from the living room is made of frosted glass and lets in all the light from the living room. Also, either bring a long extension cord, or bring a battery-operated alarm clock. There are no outlets next to the bed, and if you're blind as a bat like me, the outlet across the bed in the TV doesn't do you much good at night when trying to tell the time. We were expecting larger showers. These were some of the smallest showers we have ever had to use on a cruise ship (we have sailed in suites on other lines). Now the good: there is more storage than anyone could know what to do with! It is beautifully decorated, and we loved having a separate living room and bedroom for entertaining. We had some board games right in the room, and the bookshelves hold classic novels. The suite is in a very convenient location; close to the midship elevators and stairs. When we were docked, we had a lovely view of Atlantis in Nassau and all of Castaway Cay.

Notes: Great layout and location. Spacious room and verandah. The room is unfortunately quite noisy. There is a lot of noise from Deck 9 - every morning starting at about 4 A.M. - you can hear deck chairs being dragged, and carts being rolled - If you are not a very heavy sleeper - bring earplugs!

Notes: First time on a Disney Cruise and first cruise for my two teen girls... loved this category 3 room... triple wide and lots of room... traveling with 3 womoen the 2 baths are a must. Plus this room has the pull-down bed in the LR area, leaving the adults in the master suite. Our girls are tall and do not sleep very well in the same bed... having the pull-down and the convertible sofa, gave them each their own space. We took the 3-day cruise.. and I had read about the room being noisy as it is under the goofy pool, but I never noticed anything... maybe since we cruised during a 'light' time of year, there were not as many people. I was also concerned about it being noisy, right across from the elevator and stairs, but again, never heard anything. One thing the was a little noisy was the woodwork creaking during our first night through rough seas. Concierge service and 'special treatment' was just great. Lots of storage space with the walk-in closet. We didn't use the whirlpool tub, but nice to have it there (I guess).
