Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8536 Condition: 3
Deck: 8 Category: 4A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/06/13

Notes: Good size and the location to the mid ship elevators was good too. However, we could hear the tables and chairs on Deck 9 pretty consistently, with the chair stewards busy arranging them each morning beginning at 7 AM. Music: if the bands were out performing by Goofy's Pool, yes, you could hear them, especially the bass. One night we stayed out till 11:15 pm or so, as we knew the cabin would be pretty uncomfortable for us,in terms of the noise. Would I choose this cabin again--no, I would choose our friends cabin #8554, who did not have the scrapping above their heads each day. Their cabin had no chair/table directly above them. Castaway Cay: great view Balcony: only fits 2 chairs (not loungers) and 1 small circular metal table Condition of cabin/balcony: rusty areas needed painting over, the chairs and table were also needing repairs Cabin desk: can't explain why, but the trim was definitely marked up (by what? we couldn't figure out) from one side to the other Cabin size: we were loving it for the 2 of us, can't speak what having 5 would be like

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8536 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 01/07/11

Notes: Plenty of room for 1A, 2C however, there is not a top bunk in this room. Verandah is a nice size. Had to walk to midship elevators to go to deck 11 to avoid having to walk through adult only area.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8536 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/07/10

Notes: This was a perfect room for our family of five on our first cruise. We had plenty of space (but I had made sure not to over-pack), and the split bathroom was great. The verandah had a plexiglass wall, so DD4 could see out easily. When we backed into CC we had a view of the beach. It was not noisy (even with deck 9 just above us). We were right around the corner from the mid-ship elevators, so that was convenient, and it was nice to be able to be just one deck below the pools on deck 9. Everything in the room itself was in good condition.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8536 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/22/09

Notes: Nice roomy stateroom - there were three of us. Loved the balcony! Only heard dragging chair noise from deck 9 when I was on the balcony - never when in the cabin. Ship backed into Castaway Cay so we had a good view of the Flying Dutchman and the island. Deck not crowded so no crush at the elevators. Tried to get this cabin for our next cruise but it wasn't available. Did book another mid-ship, however.
