Notes: Good location. Noise from above began around 7am. AC vent near vanity collected condensation to the point we had to put a towel on the floor to collect it the whole trip. Couch needs to go. |

Notes: This is our second year sailing in a 1BR suite. We loved our room last year in the Med (8086). The noise in this location was unbearable. The pools were above and from early morning until late at night there was either furniture moving, foot traffic from running children or other obscure banging and noise. Not sure if we are just used to the aft locations where restaurants are above (all 7 previous cruises we had aft locations) or if this is just how it is mid-ship, but either way, I will never book mid-ship agian.
On the bright side, we love this configuration. We have 2 teens and it's great for all to have 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms so that we can have some private space.
Be aware that the second bathroom in this cabin is NOT a split bath which is annoying! There isn't anywhere you can see this info prior to agreeing to the location.
The room is also in need of some refurbishment. The furniture is a bit worn and in need of replacement.
Fridge is stocked with sodas and water (actually, suites receive a case of water upon arrival). In addition, we received the daily afternoon snack that the kids looked forward to.
All in all, I love the suites. Would only book for a longer cruise, but love the concierge services. I would look for a suite either forward or aft as they are closer to elavators and (from our experience) less noisy. |

Notes: Loved this suite! Tons of storage, triple closet upon entering, walk-in closet in bdrm with dresser and safe. more cabinets in eating area and also a bar sink here to. dressing table with soft lighting across from walk-in closet w full strength hair dryer and the top right drawer has outlet in back (I had to use this one for my straightening iron as the bathroom one kept tripping the circuit) 2 showers and 1 deep jet tub. Double marble vanity in mster bath and single in other. My husband, myself and the kids could easily all shower and bath at the same time.
Great lighting throughout. Padded chairs on double wide verandah, 2 tv's, 1 dvd/vcr with speakers in lvg room. lrg list of movies avail. to concierge guests.
Nice double pocket doors w frosted privacy glass separate the bdrm from the living room. This was so handy when one kiddo woke up and the other was trying to sleep we'd just put on cartoons in the other room and close the door. Bed is really nice, lux. linens. Toiletries from H20 spa incl. shamp. cond. body wash, after sun moist. and body cream(leave yours at home these are A+ and both baths will be supplied for) Leave your bathrobes at home too. There will be robes for adults and kids in the room.
Here's a link to most of the room photos I took although I reached my upload max. and couldn't post everything. one very important photo that is not included is the verandah door locking system. The lock is well over my head (I'm 5'5") and totally out of the reach of small children. This was my biggest worry about having the kids in the next room. It was a non issue. Plus when the sofa bed is pulled out, one chair and the coffee table are up against the livingroom doors. Even if they got on the coffee table they still couldn't reach, and the doors are so heavy that they coulsn't open them without assistance.
The only downside to using all 3 beds is your access to the verandah in the evening is difficult as you have to climb over the pull down bed to get to your bedroom verandah doors. Here's a tip. If you need the pull out and the pull down for kids, have whoever is going to sleep in the pull down bed fall asleep in the bdrm bed and move them when you're ready to hit the hay. Even though the beds are all turned down after dinner, you can lift the wall bed back up and put the chair in front of it so it's out of your way. If you don't need it, the stateroom host/hostess will leave it in the closed position.
The other thing is there is so much storage in this place we didn't even use all of it, including a triple length closet when you enter. We had 5 suitcases full of stuff.
The only downside to the location of this suite was noise from the chairs being moved on deck 9. They do set up for the next day in the middle of the night. It woke me every night for the first 5 nights. Then I got brave and mentionned it to the concierge. There wasn't so much as a creak after that. Bring a nightlight for the bathroom if you have little ones.
Table very confortably serves dinner for 4 and can be moved over so you can watch tv while you eat.
This suite is double wide where the 4 midship cat. 3's are triple wide, but this one is longer. We went through 8532 after the people had left they are a different layout. This one has a smaller livingroom but a bigger bdrm as the pull down wall bed is in it.
The best thing about these suites is the service that comes along with them. You'll feel like royalty!
Have a great trip.

Notes: Especially convenient to Topsiders and drink station...just a quick run up the stairs. Slight noise from above (running feet, sliding chairs) but still quieter than most hotel rooms. Good floor plan, luxurious master bath. |

Notes: Loved the wide deck. Excellent room in a great spot on the ship. Not a lot of motion felt during the cruise. Having the added bathroom was a plus for a family of divers. Overall a great room. |
