Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8558 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/10/13

Notes: We loved our stateroom. We did not hear any noise from the above deck and it was so convenient to go to the drink area and pool. We just walked up the stairs without using the elevator. We will be smarter to not pack so many clothes and just use the laundry facilities on the ship. Our room host was excellent and did a super job cleaning our room everyday. The Magic ship is one of the older ships so some of the tiles in the bathroom was cracked but overall, the room was so clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the veranda was great. You could see the ocean and Castaway Cay. 3-adults and 2-children stayed in this room and we were all comfortable. Of course, we didn't stay in our rooms too long (just to sleep at night), since there is so many wonderful and fun things to do on the ship. This was our first cruise (8-night Bahamian cruise) and it won't be our last. We went to Castaway Cay, Magic Kingdom, Key West and back to Galveston. I get motion sick even in cars, boats, trains, buses and rides...but with my ear patch, I didn't feel the ship even moving. The rest of the people in my family didn't need any motion sickness medication or the seaband bracelets. The sea was calm and the weather was great. Thank you Disney Magic!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8558 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 12/04/11

Notes: Excellent verandah room since it was not far from the midship elevators/stairs. Walk 3 flights up for the pool deck or down to 5 for the kids club. Room is on starboard side so we had a great view of Castaway Cay in port and a view of the ocean in Nassau. Definitely enough space since we were able to stow luggage under the bed. Lots of cabinets and closet space. My son loved the bunk bed pull down configuration for sleeping.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8558 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/12/10

Notes: Noisy during day with chairs from Deck 9. Night time, peaceful, didn't hear a pin drop! Located between 2 elevators and stairs. Can sneak a glimpse of Disney Suites if lucky! :) View of Castaway Cay at port. 8th deck provides quick access to 9th for pools/food! Bathroom tiles, a little worn. Bedspread a little worn, mattress slightly sunken. The murphy bed folds right into the "storage trunk" So, could not get clothes out unless murphy bed was up. Could not get access to verandah without having murphy bed up or stepping on it. Other than that, was great! This may seem like a lot, but it's not. We had 5 in our room. Was a little crowded, but we didn't spend much time in there. We thought about booking a 2 room suite, however, for 4K we didn't see the need since we really only slept in there.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8558 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 06/04/05

Notes: We loved our room. We we're concerned that we'd hear everyone above us on deck 9 and it was not a problem. Located between aft and mid elevators, we could head right up to the pools when we found the time. Great room!

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8558 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/04/05

Notes: *Good mid-ship location, can use mid-ship stairs, or aft stairs - especially to get to deck 9 and dining rooms(didn't use elevators much - small & slow) *beautiful, large verandah *Too crowded IMO for 5 people, because when 5th bed is down (Murphy bed), it not only blocks verandah, but also blocks "steamer trunk" storage area *OK it was 1 year ago, so maybe it has been refurbished but last Feb the room looked very worn - scrapes & marks on walls, carpet worn, comforters worn *some noise above from deck chairs, but not too bad and didn't disturb sleep
