Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8566 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/13/12

Notes: This room was incredibly convenient - midship just a few doors up from the midship elevators. No noise at all from any other parts of the ship, including the elevator bays. Other than that, a standard 5B room - nice verandah, the bed and couch are on your left as you come into the room.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8566 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 5 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 12/22/11

Notes: Room was spacious and clean, with enough storage for our family of 4. There was some noise, mostly from the nearby stairs and elevators, but it was not problematic. It was convenient to be mid ship and near the stairs/elevator. A CM area (stairs? storage?) was across from the room, but this did not create any issues or loud noise.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8566 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/16/10

Notes: No problems with noise. Very convenient to Aft elevators and stairs, which means a straight shot up the stairs to the drink machines!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8566 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 07/20/09

Notes: An absolutely fantastic room on Deck 8, great location, good sized room, lots of amenities. Loved the deck, easy to get to the pools and sun deck quickly, good for topsiders, and cove cafe to get a quick snack and return. I see the odd mention of posters saying there is noise on this deck, It is totally untrue, unless they are speaking about the pirate party, and if you have your veranda doors open, actually its very peaceful, and for a light sleeper we got a lot of sleep. No funny noises at all. I have found lower deck rooms have a lot of vibration and noise, from clubs, restaurants, and a humid, and not fresh smell, but up on deck 8, the movement is less, no vibration, and you can have room service on your veranda. We spent a lot of time in the room and enjoyed the facilities.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8566 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/18/09

Notes: The cabin is located between mid to aft. There were no issues at all with this cabin (other than I got dyslexic a couple times, but that was my own fault, and remedied by my personalized magnets). Plenty of space in the cabin for the 4 of us, and the balcony was great. Definitely recommend this cabin!
