Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 08/28/17

Notes: Great Mid-ship location very close the the staircase, it's very convenience to go down to restaurants, or go up to pools. Only issue is I like to get food from Cabanas back to the room, and this could be quite a walking distance. Noisy level is very low, only occasion noise from the Shuffleboard but no big issue. The view to Castaway Cay is priceless if the cruise ship back-in to the port (that's the usual case). This room is highly recommended.

Notes: The room was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the balcony view very much. Deck 8 was convenient to everything on the ship!

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/21/12

Notes: Great location. Close to the midship elevator and stairs. Very quiet room. No elevator noise. If you are absolutely sensitive to noise, the only noise we could hear was on the verandah. Deck 4 Shuffleboard could be heard on occasion. Very subtle. It took us days to figure out what it was. View of DCL terminal and restaurants when leaving port. Great view of St. Thomas and Castaway Cay. OK view of St. Martin. Starboard side of ship. Fireworks were on this side for our cruise. We booked this stateroom for our 2013 cruise because we liked it so much.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/28/11

Notes: Wonderful location. Very easy access. The room is across from the service elevators and other reviewers said that there was a lot of noise. Either we were louder than that noise, or there wasn't any noise, but we had no issues at all.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/05/11

Notes: The room was bigger than expected which was nice. The verandah was nice and the beds were comfortable. However, we were able to hear chairs above us moving. So it was a little noisy, especially in the mornings. But it wasn't too bad. The hallways outside the room were smelly, but it didn't permeate into our stateroom. We did like the fact that we were close to Topsiders.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 5 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/26/11

Notes: Very convenient, mid ship location. First stateroom as you turn left. Very quiet, never heard noise, and I am super sensative. We are a family of three and had plenty of room. This cabin did have a pull down 'bunk bed'. There was a scratch on the table and the bottom of the closet was bowed, where you could see the press board. Neither was an issue, just didn't expect that from a brand new ship.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/20/10

Notes: An absolutely fantastic room on Deck 8, great location, good sized room, lots of amenities. Loved the deck, easy to get to the pools and sun deck quickly, good for topsiders, and cove cafe to get a quick snack and return. I see the odd mention of posters saying there is noise on this deck, It is totally untrue, unless they are speaking about the pirate party, and if you have your veranda doors open, actually its very peaceful, and for a light sleeper we got a lot of sleep. No funny noises at all. I have found lower deck rooms have a lot of vibration and noise, from clubs, restaurants, and a humid, and not fresh smell, but up on deck 8, the movement is less, no vibration, and you can have room service on your veranda. We spent a lot of time in the room and enjoyed the facilities.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8568 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 4 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 05/16/09

Notes: After reading several reviews for this area of the ship, I was concerned. We had no problem with the chairs moving around above. We only heard it during the day when were obviously awake. It was not bothersome at all. It was very convenient to be near the beverage station and also Topsiders along with Animators and Parrot Cay. The room is very very nice and roomy. The tub was also larger than CAT 6. Very thrilled with the stateroom.
