Notes: So the new disney magic. I've been in it because I helped build it and I got a tour when it was over. Room 8582 is a great room for a family of 5. It's close to the aft stairs it's very close to the new aqua lab and the pool deck it has flat screen tv and two bathrooms and a private view of the ocean has a queen size bed and a round tube in the room bathroom. By the way it's a great room Thanks... |

Notes: Quiet with beautiful view of Castaway Cay. Close to elevators with enough storage for 2 adults & 2 teens. No anticipated motion sickness. Felt vibration (from stabilizers I assume) for short period of time. Would rebook this room. |

Notes: Perfect location. Near mid ship elevators. It was a quiet and comfortable room. Verandah was great. Did not notice the motion of the ship at all. You can't go wrong with this room. |

Notes: The room was located close to the mid-ship elevators. We enjoyed how easy this made getting around the boat. Even though we were close to the elevators the room was very quiet.
This room had a great view of the family beach when docked on Castaway Cay. |

Notes: This was our 3rd time on The Disney Magic. Other times we've stayed in category 4's and they are great but a category 3 is a difference! The concierge service just makes the experience amazing not to mention the space. I won't bore you with the layout of the room and such since that can be found anywhere. This room was very convenient for the aft elevators, Topsiders buffet and the Mickey pool. The only item that was a little disruptive was evening noise on deck 9 around 11 pm or so. Come to find out, it was some of the maintenance crew and kitchen staff working/transporting. |

Notes: We really loved the location of this room. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is that the bathtub needs refinishing (which will be done in Sept 08) and there can be some noise from the connecting cabin. Otherwise it was wonderful. On the Eastern itin we faced the industrial part of the ports in St Thomas and St Maarten (we were docked both places). We backed into Castaway Cay and had a gorgeous view!j
We loved having the suite, but it does seem a bit crowded, due to all the furniture. But I would definitely book this cabin again, and in fact have the same suite on the Wonder next year! |

Notes: Fabulous location! Near the stairs, its just one flight up to Topsiders, Scoops, and the Beverage bar; its also a short walk down to the AFT restaurants (Parrot Cay, Animators) - no waiting on elevators.
Room was quiet and elegant. Lots of closet space - a big one in Living Room, a huge walk-in in the bedroom. You'll find 2 spa robes and slippers waiting for you in the walk-in closet. Bathrooms are large, there are 2 full baths, and the bedroom one also has a jacuzzi. The shampoos and lotions are upgrades - spa quality. There are 2 large TVs (one in each room). Living Room also has a CD player and VCR (borrow movies and CDs from Concierge).
The Queen bed is heavenly - not one of the "pull together" twin beds - its a real queen, with luxurious cotton sheets and comforter. The Murphy Twin is in the main bedroom, and is also very comfortable. It was perfect to put our 4 year old to sleep, while we enjoyed the Living Room. The sofa bed is small, but will hold one adult or two children comfortably. There is a set of sliding doors that separate the two rooms at night.
The Dining area is roomy. There is a table for 4, cabinets, a small sink, and a small refrigerator. It was lovely to have a hot eat-in breakfast each morning; Concierge guests get a more complete breakfast menu - take advantage of it!
Be sure to take an extension cord, as the only "real" outlets are in the Living Room. There are outlets in the bedroom, but they are only available when the Murphy Twin Bed is down. You can ask for a "real" Hair Dryer if you find the bathroom one too weak, but you'll have to plug it in at the Living Room outlet (which is under a mirror).
The Verandah is roomy, and the view from this high on the ship is amazing. We spent much time sipping coffee or eating ice cream (from Scoops) and just enjoying the scenery. On the Western, this room faced Key West, Cozumel, Cuba (as we went by), and Grand Cayman.
We felt very spoiled in this Cat 3 room, with its elegant furnishings and spacious atmosphere. Initially, we worried about having a room "Aft," but loved the convenient location. We have already booked a 2006 cruise in this same room! |
