Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 8588 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 8 | Category: 4B | Location: Aft |

Notes: What a great location! First thing we noticed was the stateroom itself seemed a little small. Even though it can accommodate 5 due to the Murphy bed, couch and bed in the ceiling, I think it’d be a tight fit. Noise level was a little noticeable especially during deck parties on deck 9 but nothing bad enough to be irritating. Exit the aft elevator, go to the left, down about 3 doors and you’re there! Super convenient to Cabanas one deck up. |

Notes: This is a disability accessible cabin which was perfect as we had 2 members of our group using mobility devices. It is the most spacious cruise cabin we have ever been in. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. There is a single bathroom with a roll-in shower. The floor can get a little wet at times after a shower so we had to be very careful to dry it up completely to reduce fall risks. The room had an automatic door which opened easily with the swipe of your room card. The door would stay open a bit longer than we liked when you went to leave so we always had to wait for it to shut. The balcony was roomy and provided an excellent view. The location of the room to the rest of the ship was very convenient. We did not notice any noise. I would most definitly stay in this room again. |

Notes: The second wave phone in the room had broken keys looks like someone smashed it.
Only extra noise we heard was kids running in the halls. The room is extremely spacious. Could fit a powerchair and scooter in teh room. There is a pull out couch and a bed that pulls down from the well. |

Notes: Overall a good room. We didn't use the Murphy bed as my daughter wanted to use the top bunk bed. We were right under the drink station which was awesome. DH said that he sometimes heard deck chairs sliding but it didn't bother me. We were right across from a staff area (where luggage was delivered, towels stored, and access for room service) so the door across the hall opened and closed a lot and sometimes slammed. That would be my only complaint.
No problem being so close to the elevators. |
