Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8596

Notes: This was our second Disney cruise and second our second cruise on the Fantasy. We stayed in room 8098 last time so we thought this time we'd try the same room but on the opposite side of the ship so we would get a nice view of Castaway Cay when docked, which we did, but we still preferred 8098 for some reason even without the Castaway Cay view. 8596 has the bed the pulls down from the ceiling; our 6 year old loved it. Our 2 year old slept in the sofa bed. They were both very comfortable and there is lots of room in this cabin. The veranda is nice, it’s clear so you don't need to stand up to get a view. As with 8098 this room is quiet, away from most of the traffic and no rooms opposite. It does not connect with other cabins.

Notes: My family really enjoyed this stateroom. Very roomy and convenient to the aft elevators. A quick hop up the stairs to the beverage station and the quick service food on deck 9. It is a white wall veranda though, so no sitting and watching the water. Starboard side so great views of CC.

Notes: Agree with Rachelsmom91's review. Room in very good condition. It was missing the remote control for the TV, had to finally get an officer to replace it, room steward and guest services didn't seem interested. Wife loved the overhead shower head and water pressure was good.

Notes: Great room. Convenient to mid-ship elevators and stairs. The verandah does have one of the cut in pieces on one side but we felt it was not an issue. We would book this room again. Very quiet location. This room only sleeps 4. No murphy bed.
