Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/04/23

Notes: Sailing date was 4-4-2024. This is an accessible 1 bdr stateroom all the way aft. You are the farthest aft stateroom on the starboard side. It's a fantastic room, recently updated with a huge verandah. Tons of room for everything. However, I would not book this again. There's a lot of noise from Cabanas outside seating directly above. It's quite a hike to get anywhere (dw has difficulty with long walks). The concierge lounge is on deck 10 midship so that's a bit of a walk. Otherwise, it's great.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 07/05/19

Notes: Cabin is bigger then most T Category because it is accessible. The Murphy bed is in the bedroom area, not living area. The deck is huge and was great for Alaska, we did not have any issues as others mentioned with food being thrown, or many people looking down, since not many people were eating outside. However, every morning you could here the chairs and tables being moved around from cabanas. One positive being below cabanas was for teens to run up a "secret" staircase to get breakfast and bring it down to the cabin. Also could hear people in the cabin next to it with connecting door, never experienced this before. Unfortunately, being so far way from the concierge lounge location on deck 10 is not convenient, at all, especially with a wheelchair. Using the midship elevators, there are only 2 of 4 that go to deck 10. The Concierge Lounge is amazing thou. Pluses & minus for all cabins. Having stayed on the Fantasy where all cabins are around the lounge it did seem more annoying on the Wonder. This would not be my first choice of cabins, because of noise and location, but in the end I would take any cabin and be on a cruise then not.

Notes: Amazing suite! We have had one bedrooms before but this one beats them all. Incredibly roomy and the verandah- OMG WOW. We spent as much time on it as possible. The views were incredible. There’s more than enough room for a cot to be brought in to accommodate additional guests. We have booked this room again on the Magic for a sailing next year already. I’m shocked more people don’t ask for it, a real hidden gem of a room.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 3
Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/25/16

Notes: The room itself is beautiful and spacious. The balcony is pretty much worthless between the people on deck 9 in Cabana's throwing garbage down or DCL employees cleaning and blowing garbage down. Would not book this room again nor would I recommend it.

Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/13/14

Notes: Beautiful room! This room has an enormous verandah, 2 full bathrooms, tons of space (as its wheelchair accessible - we did not require the wheelchair accessibility) Note the closets are wheelchair height, which worked out well for us as we have two young children so things were also their height. We did also hear the noise from Cabanas in the mornings but it didn't bother us as we were awake early everyday anyway :)

Notes: Great location with a gorgeous view of Castaway Cay! Convenient for a quick trip up the stairs to Flo's and/or the drink station on Deck 11. Roomy enough for 3 adults, a 4 year old, and an infant in a pack n play. Would stay in this room again.

Deck: 8 Category: T Location: Aft

Notes: Well, for the most part, almost 99% this was a great room! As for noise: A little when positioning at ports as the engines are below us. A little on the roof when meals are being prep'd; not bad. Pros, almost everything. Cons, The bathroom door out in the living room tends to open and close if not latched; if you don't latch it (close all the way) - air doesn't circulate and the bathroom smells a little, so an inner latch to hold it open would be great. Hence it smelled most of the trip. The carpet in front of the living room sliding door seemed wet a lot, we told them about this. The bedroom bathroom needs a few hooks for towels and true to note, you need a towel for the showers to keep the water from going into the rest of the bathroom, not a big deal. Power is low voltage in the bathroom as it didn't power the hair dryer. When they built the ship - electronics were less, so today, with all our gadgets a power stripe (sp?) would be great. The bed is low in the bedroom, likely for handicap access, not a bad thing, just a suprise the first time you get in. The bed is also a queen - we're use to a king. So that is our problem. Really liked: Being at the back was great, NO foot traffic and nice and quiet other than noted above. The deck is something to brag about when you return home. LOVED IT - we had a great Glacier Party with 18 people back there! When they spun the ship, we were of few who got to see the glacier drop four large sections, great to see, a little sad because loosing pieces is kind of bad, but loud, closes and picture perfect. Ashley the Concierge, UNREAL! ENJOY!! Point is, we will book this one again if we can.

Notes: NOT noisy AT ALL!!! Incredibly quiet! The way we parked at Castaway we could see all the island activities from our balcony. What a truly magical view to wake up to!! Our room had plenty of space! And that's with a husband and son both over 6 feet and mix in a 2 year old toddler around your feet. Still felt like we had space for everyone! Son even felt murphy bed was plenty comfortable, though his 6 foot length made his feet hang off the end. But we were SO grateful they found a siderail for the couch bed for my 2 year old. One of 11 DD's favorite ship moments was seeing the "stars" above her "top bunk" bed. REALLY fun! LOVE the new ship! Love that all the luggage really does fit in that wonderfully large underbed storage!

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/31/10

Notes: We upgraded to this room at port and it was AWESOME!!! It was quiet. Only once heard sounds from upstairs. People can look down onto verandah from Beach Blanket, but we never saw anybody doing it. Conveniently located next to a staircase that is inside of Beach Blanket. Made it very easy to get food, drinks, and to go to the pool. The verandah is HUGE/ENORMOUS and so is the room. First bathroom had a sink, toilet, and walk in shower. The master bath had a sink, full size tub, and walk in shower. There is a HUGE walk in closet in the master bedroom. Great views from all the ports because you can see both starboard and port side. Great spot to view the fireworks on pirate night.

Notes: Wow! Beautiful suite! I did miss the jacuzzi tub as this is a HA suite. The location is great, just around the corner from the secret stairwell to Topsiders. Huge verandah with great views of ports (especially Castaway Cay). Plenty of room for a family of 4. The only noise was when docking at ports and as Topsiders got busy in the AM.

Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft

Notes: We upgraded at the port from a Cat 4 to this stateroom and what a treat!!! It is beautiful. And the verandah is HUGE. I actually entertained a group of 20 people on it and there was plenty of room. The verandah overlooks the Secret Deck 7 where we saw a wedding take place - really cool. They do spray down Deck 9 late in the afternoon/early evening so you will get misted on if you are outside. Saw a few people on Deck 9 eating but never felt like our privacy was invaded. There is a tub in the bedroom and a walk in closet which is nice. The closet in the entry way didn't really accomodate long hanging clothes since this is a handicap room but wasn't really a problem. Never had a problem with the showers flooding the bathroom - thought it might be a problem be not the case. We asked for a cot since there were 4 adults - the cot was horrible but no complaints from any other beds. All in all - I would book this cabin again in a split second.

Notes: We booked only 3 months before the cruise and the only 1BR suite available was this HCP-accessible one. The set-up on the 1BR suites vary depending on location. As you enter this one, you have a bathroom with shower to the right and closet with lifevests to the left. The rods are at a level someone in a wheelchair could use. The sink however was at normal height so I would think it would be difficult for someone in a w/c. The next section was (L-R) the wet bar/refrigerator, dining table, sofa bed and two side chairs and table followed by a desk (no chair for w/c access), and the sliding glass door to the deck. Mind you, if you happen to have two people in w/c and no able-bodied folks, youre not opening the door without assistance from the SR attendant since the lock is at the top of the door. After that, theres a sliding separating door that takes you to the other bathroom with shower including shower seat and a step-in bathtub (no jacuzzi). The BR was there and a walk-in closet. The verandah was huge. I would guess it to be 20 long and about 6-8 feet deep. If anyone wants pics of the SR, I have lots of every angle so just PM me with your email address. The layout should be similar for 8102, just reversed. The living room is about 26 long and just under 10 wide. The entry bath is about 10L x 5W and sink is 33 high. The entry closet is 5 long, one rod is 44 high and also has two shelves; the other rod is 36 high with another two shelves. There are two outlets under the desk in the LR and there are two outlets at the vanity in the BR. I highly recommend bringing a power strip. The wet bar counter is 50L and 19W, and there are wine, champagne, and cocktail glasses available in the cupboard.) The refrigerator is 11 deep (3.5 deep door)one of the gift cake boxes fits in the fridge. The BR is about 10 x 10 and the walk-in closet is about 4 x 4 but is angled. The master shower/toilet area is 6 long by 4 and the sink/tub area is about 6 x 5. All the closets has PLENTY of hangers (pant and skirts ones). Amenities provided were 2.7 oz tubes of H2O products: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body butter, and solar relief gel. There was a 24 (estimate) flat screen TV with CD/DVD player in the LR, and a 15 flat screen TV with DVD player in the BR. The master bath had lots of drawer storage; the entry bath just had a couple small, narrow shelves. The noise from Beach Blanket Buffet nor the ship itself was not a factor but were pretty heavy sleepers; if you are noise-sensitive, bring ear plugs. We did not have water on our verandah except from rain and did not hear chairs moving around until disembarkation morning, which I can understand the need to get ready for the next group. Water in the shower areas was not an issues. There were drains and water never got on my bath mat (at least in the entry bath DH used the master bath). On the last night heading from CC to PC, we were hauling and could feel it. Our hangers were clanking against each other, which could be annoying if that bothers you. If it was available for a future cruise, I wouldnt hesitate booking this suite again just for the pure space size especially the verandah.

Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/26/06

Notes: We have stayed in one other CAt 3 (non midship) and this room is huge! They brought a rollaway bed for my daughter so the kids did not have to try to sleep together (1 teenage son and 1 teenage daughter). It is very convenient to Topsiders with special stairs that take you right up. The verandah is huge!! We had 2 loungers with a table and 4 chairs and more room to spare. It is a little noisy as Topsiders is right above on Deck 9. You do get vibrations from the thrusters and when they take in the ropes used to tie up to the dock. It is a handicapped accessible room so there is no tub (showers only) but they worked fine. TV and DVD player in both rooms. If the captain backs in at Castaway Cay you have a wonderful view of everything.

Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 07/17/06

Notes: Room was very quite at all times. For the 11 days/night, never heard the thrusters at all. Very convenient to Beach Blanket Buffet. No one looked down on our balcony to any degree and if they did, they wished they were in that room. Showers were excellent and DID NOT overflow in either bathroom. Cpt. backed into CC and had great view of Black Pearl as it was docked. Will definitely book this room again. Very roomy and had party for 15 people and never crowded at all.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 3
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 06/01/05

Notes: On the wonder the master bath DOES have the tub. Using the showers in either bathroom flooded the entire bathroom as there is no lip. The verandah was wet most of the time. It rained on the departure day and it never drained properly and it was wet each morning after they sprayed down from the buffet above. The room shakes violently when the thrusters are in use. Handicap accessibility is great.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 4
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 03/12/05

Notes: Great stateroom. Absolutely enormous. Three small drawbacks: 1. Noise. From deckchairs above in Topsiders very early in the morning and from the ship's thrusters when entering or leaving port. 2. Balcony, while "the largest private outdoor space on the ship" affords little privacy (people at topsiders above looking down). 3.Vibration from thrusters violently shakes entire stateroom.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 8602 Condition: 3
Deck: 8 Category: 3 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/18/04

Notes: (Magic) This room had a few problems with the toilet and shower in the master bedroom and there is no longer a tub in 8102 and 8602...but, having the HUGE verandah almost more than made up for any problems. The room sleeps only 4, and only if 2 people sleep in the queen bed (can't be made into twins) and 2 people sleep on the fold-out couch. Our son slept on the floor, as he didn't want to sleep with his sister. But we still loved the quiet hallway, closeness to the restaurants, and again, the huge verandah. Warning: there is no privacy on the verandah. It can be looked into from the buffet above.
