Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8636

Notes: This was our first time on deck 8 and first time in a more AFT stateroom and we were really happy with the location and the room. Plenty of storage and convenient set up for our family of five. Being able to utilize the AFT elevators and stairs was very convenient to the Kids Club, Cabanas, Pool Deck and Adult areas. I will say we noticed more vibration when going to bed at night as opposed to our prior midship staterooms. Would not prevent us from staying here again, though!

Notes: This room was on the starboard side about half way between midship and aft. The aft elevators took us right to Cabanas and and the pool as well as the District for the adults. Also, aft elevators took us directly to the gangway for Castaway. Plenty of room--we didn't need shoe hangers or anything for our things. 2 large closets, lots of drawers. With all 3 beds pulled down or out, the large desk chair and the steamer trunk were in the way. All luggage fit under the bed. Very quiet. Connects to 8634.

Notes: This is an excellent room, in great condition and very quiet. We didn't find the adjoining door to rattle at all (as previous report mentioned) so perhaps they have fixed it. Short walk to aft elevators, would have preferred to be closer to the midship elevators. We had beautiful views from the verandah. Room sleeps 5 (with bunks and murphy bed as well as main bed). Had a great view of Castaway Cay from this room. Lots of drawer space, cupboard space, closet space with hangers. Definitely recommend this stateroom - only complaint is how far we had to walk to mid ship elevators.

Notes: Good room location. Close to aft elevators which gets you quickly to upper decks and deck 3 dining and Europa. The companion door rattled extensively while the ship was moving. Engineers tried to do a quick fix to no avail. Otherwise, a great room with good views.
