Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 9012

Notes: We really liked this room! The main thing to note is the verandah obstruction. It is about 1/4-1/3 of the Verandah. We did not find this to be a problem at all and actually enjoyed having a bit of coverage. It is pretty far forward but we did not have any issues with motion or sea sickness. At times I was like ugh…. When we needed to go far aft, lol. But really it was fine. It was very quiet. We would book this room again.

Notes: Perfect if you desire the fresh air of the sea but don’t necessarily need the full verandah experience. Location was perfect for us (2 adults) and wasn’t an inconvenience. Only 2 minor issues with the room itself. The commode door wouldn’t shut without a little convincing and one of the drawers in the vanity wouldn’t shut properly. Otherwise, a great stateroom for 2 people.

Notes: The room was beautiful. Everything was in working order. The veranda was nice. It provided a little more protection from wind and sun.

Notes: Comfortable & quiet veranda room in great shape. However - be aware that a little more than half of the "view" above the railing on the veranda is blocked diagonally by the steel curvature structure of the ship. This is the first veranda room after a series of porthole rooms on the forward part of the ship. The con is obvious, especially from inside the room. The pro is that you can sit on the veranda while underway and have a decent wind block.
