Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/24/16

Notes: Room is in excellent condition. It is on the starboard side all the way at the end of the hall, directly across from laundry. We were bothered by folks talking loudly (because the machines are loud) to each other, mostly early in the morning, and by the whine of the washer when spinning dry. Our cruise also suffered several days with moderate winds/seas, and next time I would choose a stateroom nearer to the middle and on the lower levels of the ship, as seasickness was exacerbated by bigger motion further from the middle.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 4
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/05/15

Notes: Slept 5 of us comfortably. It is right across the hall from laundry and while that was convenient, it was a tad noisy. Formal night there was a queue at our door for ironing before dinner. It sounded like a party in the hall. There was some toilet noise (screeching) on night one but with repeated flushing, it went away. This is a long walk from dining but is convenient to drinks and ice cream above on deck 11. I prefer midship over the forward room. There was noise when the ship steered and it was a more bouncy ride. Was okay but missed a midship verandah.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/11/14

Notes: Quite spacious for 3 adults, great view with the extra large porthole window, and super convenient to the laundry room. It's a bit of a walk, but is also very quiet and being at the end of the long hallway, has no foot traffic to deal with. We didn't notice any noise related to the laundry room. Loved having the murphy bed for our 6'4" son (which he really enjoyed being right against the porthole view)! Would definitely book this type of room (deluxe family oceanview) again. However, because I don't enjoy long walks, might try to get one closer to midship. If you enjoy walking off dinner, then it's great! Everything was very comfortable and the view was awesome (except the last morning when we watched everything being unloaded into the terminal for our departure :( ).

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward

Notes: Very quiet room across from the laundry room. Heard almost no noise at all from the hallway the whole week. Furthest walk to cabanas and aqua duck, but never was an issue. It is a non-adjoining room so there is no noise from neighbors. Would book this room again.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/01/13

Notes: We were a family of 4 and found this room to be very spacious. It has a ceiling pull down bed and the coffee table/trunk served for extra storage (we put all our pirate night gear in their!). Coming off the elevator/stairs, it will be the very last room, but we didn't mind the walk. It is right across from the laundry room but we did not hear additional noise from that. Kids enjoyed sitting at the large seated porthole window. All of our suitcases (some quite large) easily fit under the bed.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/01/12

Notes: While this room was a hike by being all the way forward we really loved it. It slept all 5 of us very comfortably. The laundry room was right across the hall and that was very convenient. When you look out the porthole to your left you can see the bridge jutting out and you can wave to the captain. Pretty neat. We would book this room again in a heartbeat. A tip is to use the midship elevators and not the forward ones when you want to go to deck 11 because otherwise it spills you out in the adults only area and to avoid the forward elevators right after a show lets out.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 9500 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 01/26/11

Notes: Quiet room at the very front starboard side of the ship as no one walks/runs past the room. Right across from the Laundry room but did not hear other guests using it. Also, being the first room on Deck 9 made it very is to find. Just use forward lifts, turn right, turn left down hall walk to very end turn right and there you. Never lost it even after Martini tastings. Cat 8s have the round shower with the overhead sprayer that is just awesome especially if you are 6'+. I was worried about the room since it is the first room on the starboard side but the window is unobstructed and the height is wonderful for looking out. Would pick it again without hesitation.
