Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 9512

Notes: While this is a forward room, it is very close to being a midship location. It is far enough away from the forward elevators that there wasn’t a lot of noisy foot traffic. Being on the starboard side, there were beautiful views of Castaway Cay waiting for us when we woke that morning. The gentle motion was enough to rock me to sleep at night, but didn’t bother either of my motion sickness prone family members. Access to the theaters was easy, as was access to the muster station for the drill…muster is in the Walt Disney Theater. It is a hike to and from the dining rooms, but that is probably a good thing for me.

Notes: How was the room

Notes: We sailed 1/5/19. The room was clean and everything was in working order. This room sleeps 3, has a split bath, is not connecting and has an obstructed view balcony. We LOVED this cabin. Very quiet location. Easy two flights up to deck 11, easy walks down to everything else. Forward elevators were never too busy, except after shows and muster. Muster station for this room is in the Walt Disney Theatre, which is nice. I would book this room again in a heartbeat!

Notes: I loved this 5A room for the price of 7A! The obstruction was not a big deal, just the top left corner of our veranda. This did not impact our enjoyment of our stateroom at all. Deck 9 forward was an ideal location for us (two adults) because it was a short walk upstairs to the adults-only areas and the Cove Cafe for our morning espresso. Those with young children might prefer to be mid-ship or aft for better proximity to the family pool deck and Cabanas. We have previously stayed in a Cat. V concierge stateroom and, although we missed the concierge lounge, we did not find this 7A stateroom disappointing at all compared to our previous experience.

Notes: I had read mixed reviews of the obstructed view in 9512. In no way were we disappointed by our view. We had plenty of room to enjoy our view and appreciated having a little shelter when the air was cool and misty. Location was perfect for getting to the adult area on Deck 11. Not centrally located for dining rooms, but the walk wasn't extreme either. Very quiet. I had worried that we would feel the motion of the ship being so far forward, but the ride was smooth as silk. Great view of Castaway Cay. I would definitely book this room again without hesitation.

Notes: This room was wonderful, it was not that far forward and pretty close to the elevators. The obstruction is about 50% however it is not noticeable. I would recommend this room. Deck 9 is the best. Of note: We booked our next cruise while still onboard and we saved a bundle. We booked a 5A for the same price as this 7A.

Notes: Loved this room. The obstruction on the verandah was not a problem at all. We appreciated the shelter from the wind! It sleeps three and was plenty big enough for us. Located on the starboard side, we were able to see Castaway Cay when docked there.

Notes: Room was very quiet. It was located close to the Forward elevators, which was nice because they were less busy than the midship elevators. The room was in great condition. There is a decorative panel that blocks a little bit of the left side of the balcony. This did not affect our views at all. We loved everything about the room!

Notes: Close to forward elevators/stairs, which seemed to be the least busy. Only sleeps 3.
